GGG Is a great fighter but he Is not and does not claim to be an ATG. Everyone on this forum knows this.

Ive seen your comments on some forum posts and actually agreed with some of them. But cant agree with this one.

Overselling. Szeremeta, a mandatory. Rolls, meh. Otherwise, Canelo II. Derevyanchenko was a fine, worthy opponent. Pandemic. Over 3 years, not 5.

Regardless. I’d like to see GGG fight Charlo at some point. Andrade? Meh. He has been too inactive, and needs to fight better opponents. There’s no gravitas there.

I’d say in the interest of MW boxing, Canelo -GGG III is still order of business #1.

    Hahaha. I like your humor.

In all seriousness though, do you see Canelo as an ATG or possibly heading that way?

So you agree that Canelo is a dishonest steroid cheat who bribes judges? You only disagreed with my cherry picking comment lol

no more of a steroid cheat than :

    Tyson Fury
    Povetkin
    Roy Jones
    Shane Mosely
    James Toney
    Cassius Clay (vs Larry Holmes)
    Tommy Morrison
    Evander Holyfield

I can live with it, all things considered

yes, yes I do. certainly by todays standards. his resume is full of champions. many were passed their primes, but so were they when they fought Floyd and Manny.

Canelo has also fought a good number of tough guys in their primes

Now I agree. Yes his skills and work ethic and attitude put him In the mix. But I dont think he has the current era compared to the 70s/80s to stand out among the greats. No fault of his own of course, its just how the world spins. Or sits there.. If you're a flat earth believer.

If Canelo leaves the division, I'd like to see GGG vs Charlo tbh.

Then a retirement trilogy fight at SMW vs Canelo.

So you are ok with the fact that Canelo is on steroids and bribes judges. Also, doesn't give fighters time to prepare. That's all I wanted to know

I seriously doubt Canelo was training for only 3 weeks for Kovalev or Smith. Don't play stupid. You know what's going on.
Kovalev had a very hard fight literally a month before fighting Canelo.

Canelo has an exceptional resume, no doubt about that.

Nonetheless, unbiased observers acknowledge that he should have been on the wrong end of the scorecards in the first GGG fight.
