What??? I knew who Murray was too years ago, I doubt this Blizzy guy has seen any of his fights but the Martinez match and that's a maybe?. A lot of the people on this site had never seen Geale or Rubio before they set foot in the ring with GGG, yet they comment like they're experts when saying the only people GGG has beaten are bums mainly based on the fact they're not well known in America.

Well I rated Geale pretty high and I rated Rubio pretty high, but I don't rate Murray very highly so to me its a step down in his competition level.

Geale and Soliman beat Sturm more soundly than Murray, who didn't beat him at all, the draw was generous in my opinion. And I don't think he beat Martinez either it was a close fight that he lost on points, Sergio outworked him in spite of the fact that he had the benefit of Martinez being a shell of himself coming off of an injury when he fought him as well.

How long do you think the fight will last CST80? rounds 1-6 @ evens a decent bet?

2 to 3 rounds maybe 4. Murray has very little head movement,he has no power to keep GGG at bay, he doesn't have good body defense and he tends to freeze up when he's on the ropes, four things that will work against him in a big way with GGG.

Murray doesn't have the work rate, speed, movement, or power to give GGG any issues. It would be very hard for GGG to lose this fight.

and when, as is likely, golovkin demolishes murray, will you still label him a fraud? how many of his contemporaries does ggg have to brutalize before you credit him?

I agree with you actually. I think Macklin is decent and very tough, but Geale is a better fighter and Rubio has a pretty solid punch. I've actually seen people refer to both Geale and Rubio as bums; it absolutely baffles me.

Most GG haters don't know what they are talking about anyway. They think most MW's are bums because they have never heard of them, they were too busy following Mayweather, Pacquiao, Broner... Guys like Collazo, Soto Karass, Ortiz are considered the real deal, names, why? Because they are welterweights. The only division in boxing according to some, and yet they will call you a casual fan if you don't agree with them. Go figure.

Everyone saying he is so big for the weight etc SO. He does not have the power to even make GGG think twice. Ggg will walk through him and batter his head and body and stop him in 4

Murray had enough power to snap Martinez's head back, and knock him down. And Martinez had an iron chin.

Murray is not a power puncher and martinez did not have a granite chin either and murray still didnt knock him out. GGG stalk him and walk through his punches. Id love to see murray beat him but he doesnt have the old equilizer

you ain't far off. it's why we see the nonsense denial of sergio's mobility issues, so that they can pretend cotto, along with any other top-flight welter, would always win that fight. meanwhile any mw contender demolished by ggg is a bum. agenda driven self delusion.
