Murray is big, strong, game and determined. He's also tough and super motivated and in great shape for this fight. That said, I'm not really worried. I think he might be able to hang around until the late rounds if he manages to summon up a super human effort or if Golovkin isn't firing on all cylinders, but I'd be very surprised if he lasts the full route, let alone if actually won the fight. If Golovkin blows him out before 8th it will be an impressive result, and a very impressive one if he gets him out of there any earlier, especially within the first four. Unfortunately for Murray the letter G does not feature in his name at all. However, he has beaten a few fighters whose names feature the letter G and many do feel he was robbed against Sergio whose name features two of them. So that tells us that Murray's definitely above 1G level and you can make a very solid case that he's 2G if you are of the opinion he deserved the nod against Sergio. However, he's never beaten anyone whose name features three Gs like Golovkin's does and I've certainly not seen anything from him in the past to suggest he's equipped to hang at 3G level, never mind surpass it. :deal Despite the absence of the letter G from his name, Murray does have some pretty cool tatts and he has served four stretches at her Majesty's pleasure for robbery and brawling on the streets (the longest of which being three years). He's also admitted to dabbling with drugs and being a bit too friendly with the bottle too so that does afford him some kind of G status. Well, in the eyes of those who are impressed by such things. He also holds a victory over an opponent who goes by the moniker the 'Black Roy Jones Jr.' aka Ishmael Tetteh. I had no idea the real Roy Jones Jr. isn't black. :huh
Man the weigh in was a blast , Murray brought tons of crazy brit fans with him , they made SO MUCH NOISE , like in a football match , you could see MM getting confident once they started chanting and stuff , its nice to have a home crowd while you fight.
Forget about murrays performance against martinez on a slippery rainy canvas. Has anyone even seen his most recent fights? His last two fights have been absolute stinkers! On recent form Murray gets completely annihilated.
I don't think Murray can KO GGG, but he definitely has the skills and power to win rds, keep GGG honest, and possibly even make him take a step backwards here and there. Gonna have to be countering perfectly though. And it aint gonna be easy considering GGGs footwork.:think
Cst80, what you're implying doesn't allow me to answer a poster like you. I understand why you're doing what you're doing though. Covering all corners lol. Pathetic. I'm rooting for Murray and that's it. You GG **** riders have infested the board the same way Matthysse's fans did, and they all got shut up.
Have some of these Caucasian **** posters lost their minds over GG lmfao??? First Cristo, now this clown!!!???^^^^^^^
Guy's got a family too he might also be motivated not to take too much damage. He might also not want to jeopardize future earning possibilities to provide for his family by wrecking himself out there, simple fact is it's no shame to lose against GGG and there's still plenty of fights for him out there. But go on, tell us about "motivation".
John Mugabi NEVER knocked out anyone worth of a ****. He was media created hype job for re****ed yanks like you.:good
Written by a white bigot. Foh. I'm surprised that he isn't banned for the degenerate response. Murray has fans.
