I don't pretend to know any sport celebrity what I admire is their drive and how they face adversity whether it is Floyd shutting down an opponents tools or Froch just eating their damn tools. Barchams comment is just ridiculous he doesn't know GGG anymore than he knows what the inside of a pigs sh*thole looks like. The man crushes on this site are ridiculous.
Golovkin looked really good at the weigh-in. I would say he is in extra good shape, but he is always in good shape. He has the stamina, technique, timing, distance, chin, good defense, etc., should be a really good fight while it lasts.................
There's a difference between a 'defensive fighter' and someone like Murray who keeps both arms elbows and gloves plastered in front of his face all night. I see that in the gym all the time, people walking around with guards like that because they're scared to get hit, not saying this is necessarily the case here, it's most likely just a style that Murray has developed over the years, but it's hardly being fearless in the ring IMHO. Personally, I don't rate Murray at all and he would be a far better fighter if he took some more risks.
Murray isn't scared. That's how he's been taught, and he's done well for himself in every fight. He's going to show you and everyone else why he has never been down before.
You do know that Murray neednt actually go down to be stopped right? And for that matter do you know who else hasnt been down? Answer: Golovkin. And he's achieved that feat while employing an extremely aggressive strategy, not strutting around with a shield infront of his face at all times.
This may be the stupidest ****en answer that I've ever read on any boxing board. You remember this mother****er, every boxer has a different style of fighting that creates success built around their talent by their trainers and themselves. Some are aggressive, some are boxers, and some are both. No style is guaranteed to beat the other. That's where the word "will" jumps in. So the next time you slobber this cheap azz answer out to someone, you make sure it is to someone who doesn't know the sport!
Oh got you riled up I see. Slow down that heartbeat ya t.wat And if you are referring to yourself as "someone who knows something about the sport" I'm sorry but you are painfully mistaken. Your prediction thread about this fight saying Murray (a fighter with a 40% KO ratio) is going to knock out GGG is downright embarrassing. Excuse yourself from this thread, and go on talking with yourself in that bizarre thread you have going already.
When he actually opened up against Martinez he did decent damage. Put Martinez was well passed it by that time.
