GGG Fighting Andy Lee! WTF

Everyone agrees that GGG's resume isn't very good. What no one agrees with you on is that it's GGG's fault. If Martinez, Geale, Sturm and Quillin don't want to fight him, what's he supposed to do?

 

problem is Martinez is falling apart with injuries
its a pretty poor division, but GGG is in limbo for now

 

At least Lee has some heart. Geale and Krkland are obviously weak in the stomach.

 

If HBO would put up enough money they could get on of the other champions to fight Golovkin, but the other champions know how good Golovkin really is. I feel sorry for Andy Lee, he will get blasted out by Golovkin..............

 

Lee does have heart. He has shown it time and again.

This is not "heart". This is stupidity and/or desperation.
Lee is most likely taking this fight, not because he is brave but because his options are limited at this stage.
Geale and Kirkland are probably in posession of more options than Lee right now. That is why they dont HAVE to take stupid fights like this.

This is not a good move for Andy.

Andy Lee better start looking for someone willing to donate their liver now - I gather there's a bit of a waiting list.

Sit-ups, sadly, aren't gonna save him - perhaps he needs to get some armour plate grafted on to his midriff.

Nah...Andy Lee's getting a lotta stick on here but he's a decent fighter, roughly a level with the other Brits/Irish MWs, the only thing is he's got more heart than chin. He was outboxing Junior and had Vera down in both fights, boxing snot outta him in the second.

Against GGG, however, I am as close to sure as I can be that he gets stopped, likely on the under.
