Agreed, but I'm fairly certain that if GGG wins there will be a rematch, and depending on how Canelo wins Golovkin may ask for a rematch as well. So we can assume GGG and Canelo are tied up possibly the entire year on 2018 maybe even 2019.

Golovkin has to really grind him up this time. First fight was fun but I'm not keen for 3 installments.

Here is a fun fact for you then, maybe you can even dedicate an entire thread to this, maybe even write an article on the front page, but 4 years ago Saul Alvarez was also booed by an Arena full of Mexicans!!

Im willing to put my arse on the line that we will see a trilogy.. I just hope there is a clear winner and no controversial nothing this time so that all this robbery this and that nonsense can at least take a breather and we can enjoy the beauty of what this fight brings! A KO from either fighter would do but if not Im enjoying the hell out of the ride anyways!

I'd be surprised if they could stare at the whole crowd... Would need a lot of eyes for that...

The idea that Lederman is the be all and end all is a joke.

That punk thought pacquio beat JMM in the third fight.

Barring corruption I am picking GGG because this time round he'll prepare for both versions of SA. Canelo flipped the script last time & did a FMJ impersonation, no one really saw that coming. Boxed a great game plan but fought quite a negative fight, boxing off the back foot in spurts never allowing GGG to get in a groove. But at the same time it took away from his usual game too! Didn't do enough! GGG will allow for this this time round. Ya it's quite dumb not preparing for all eventualities in the first place & all this 'stand there & fight me instead of running u whiny, copper top, Mexican puffta promoted by a tranny' Machismo stuff but Canelo has shown all his hands now, his evolution so to speak so I'm sure if it I was enough last time (even with a reinvented Canelo) he'll be better placed to adapt, deal & prepare for it. I masturbate to pictures of sheep.

The 20k in attendance were definitely pro Alvarez. Maybe 2k were Golovkin supporters so the crowd reaction was very telling. The boo’s aimed at Alvarez and the cheers aimed at GGG told the story as to whom the live audience in attendance thought about the verdict and who they felt won. The commentary wasn’t that bad. Everyone had GGG winning who called the fight for HBO...they just had the fight closer than the overwhelming majority who watched the fight unfold live or remotely. I’m surprised GGG was able to keep from expressing his opinion for this long, especially when so many fans, boxers, writers and trainers were backing him as the winner.

A lot of the fans criticizing Alvarez are his own...Mexican fans expect their fighters to box in a manner where they show machismo, grit and heart. All of which Alvarez has to go along with his very deep bag of skills, but failed to display against GGG and they were vocal about their displeasure.

Part of the reason there’s so much criticism is based on Alvarez saying he was going to fight and go for the knockout only to implement a very different style than anyone has seen or expected to see from Canelo. Alvarez was a different kind of Mexican boxer....similar to JMM who was very technical....a great counter puncher but always “fought” and took risks. Alvarez didn’t have a balanced approach in his fight with Golovkin. It was weighted heavily on caution and defense and less on offense and going for the KO.

Alvarez is saying he’s going for the KO again in the rematch, but it is one of those things where fans are questioning his words based on hearing the same message going into the initial meeting. So the harshness stems from wanting Alvarez to feel the pressure to back up his talk because fans want to see him make this rematch more explosive and exciting. I think Canelo will because the sting of his own fans and people siding with Golovkin is a tough pill to swallow for someone as prideful as Alvarez

Endless hate of GGG. I dare you to find at least 3 posts that show hate. I actually like GGG. He's great for boxing just like Canelo is. Obvioulsy I root for Canelo over GGG as I feel he has been more willing to take on all comers and won me over as a fan. You fail.
