    Not a competative fight.
Since his loss to Cotto, who has he beat.
As a matter of fact, who has he fought.

Interesting fight if Sergio was at his best.

But he's not, or he would have destroyed Miguel.

Right now Pac would destroy Sergio.

    As would Provodnikov.

    And maybe even Crawford. :yep

    Wouldn't rule out Loma. :D

Martinez is looking for one last payday and I would say he deserves one but the Cotto fight showed how bad those knees really are.

Let's say Martinez did fight GGG and GGG knocked him out what would it prove? Cotto did a number on him.

If this is in some way legit and Sergio is coming back and really does want the fight... well, sucks for Sergio. I'd want Golovkin to take it if for no other reason than facing a top MW and picking up the best victory of his career (yes, I know Sergio is 40 and hasn't had a big win since 2013).

:patsch Golovkin became relevant after Martinez edged Murray.
The only time Martinez ducked him was when he took a tuneup with Cotto:)!:).

Golovkin made his debut on HBO the same month Martinez fought Chavez Jr. Martinez fought only twice after that, Golovkin fought 5 times during that time span. (and his next fight came a month after Cotto demolished Martinez).

Sergio needs to show he isn't shot to hell before Triple G stomps him.

Are you really a boxing fan?? I doubt it. Can you imagine what the GGG haters would say If he did fight Martinez. They'd say he was fighting a cripple who's nowhere near 100% fit
Theres no way in hell either Cotto or Roidy Floyd would ever get in ring with GGG they aint got the cojones

    Cotto like fighting injured opponents

Margarito .... only had one good eye but Cotto needed crooked doc to get the win for him

Yuri Foreman.... Was hopping on one leg Cotto still couldn't put him away Mercante even refused to accept his corner throwing in towel

Martinez.... Poor guy could barely walk let alone fight

Tony Margarito literally beat the heart out of Cotto when he legitimately make him kneel & QUIT!! in surrender

???, GGG would murder serg in embarrassing fashion today 5 years ago, 10 years or 15 years ago.

it would be impossible to find a solid 60 consecutive seconds in Serge's life where he would belong in the ring with Trip G from 13 years old for the next 20 years.

there is nothing in serge's fight game that says I can take more then one non jab from GGG and beat a 50 count. zero chin, sh!t stamina and his true boxing skills stink for a former champion.

serge's whole career was benefited from his good athletic ability along with always finding (or putting himself in) a pathetic division. his best win by FAR is walking corpse Chavez jr that literally starved himself to make 160 when he was no where near that weight any longer and the ONLY reason he beat him was because Jr was so dead and so weak it tool him 10 rounds to land a halfway ok glancing shot, since that single weal shot he was one solid shot away from a ko win.

serg was OUT in the 12th and was so lucky he had the worst condition jt EVER. now that is saying something because jr has come in to some fights really under conditioned and that was the WORST he was.

trip G at 15 yrs old would be illegal against the absolute best serge anyone could create. you could pump him with PEDs for years, cut off one of GGG's hands and one foot and its still a mismatch.

it' embarrassing to trip G mentioning them together at all, ever
