    Oh Ok . Then you are just claiming ignorance? Whatever supports your silly opinions. Carry on claiming GGG is ducking fighters that won't fight him.

    Abel Sanchez talks a lot of ****. There hasn't been any formal meetings from GGGs camp or any other 168 fighters camp for a fight. No one is ducking GGG at 168. You can't duck a fighter not in your division. Now is Cotto ducking GGG kinda. When he won the belt WBC stipulated he can have a choice of opponent before GGG. Should he just fight GGG yes but is he going to no. Ward does want a fight with GGG but has said he wants some tuneups and GGGs team has said they would like to clean up 160 and they see the fight happening in 2016. Froch was supposed to fight Chaves but got injured so Chaves is fighting Fonfara who is ranked like 3 or 3 by WBC at LHW. Froch would fight him after and Hearn ( Frochs promoter ) has said they are thinking of GGG after if Froch continues to fight. Chaves has said that after Froch fight he wants GGG. Mayweather is too damn small especially for a fighter who face it isn't prime. I for one don't want to see GGG trying to feast on smaller guys. I have no problem though with GGG moving up if he wants to become a great fighter and I think the smaller man moving up and making noise at 168 would be good with his career. Like wise I have no problem with him staying at 160 and dominating the division for a long time to prove he is great either. Unfortunately the other top MWs aren't anything to behold and he will have to wait for the up and comers to make his name bigger. Boxing is full of politics and nothing is clearly cut. Martinez sold the belt to a smaller fighter that doesn't belong there and it has set up this conundrum. Hopefully Cotto relinquishes the title soon so we can see GGG become lineal and watch where his career goes next.

    Dragging Mayweather or Ward into this discussion distracts from the two critical problems:

    1) The MW division presently is very weak;

    2) The putative champion has expressed no interest in fighting easily his top challenger, to the extent that he has scoffed at the notion that Golovkin would be his mandatory. It's obvious to everyone that Team Cotto don't want that fight, and unfortunately it's one of the few interesting matches that can be made.

    The rest of this thread primarily is noise. Asking Mayweather to move up to 160 always was asinine, whether the champion was Hopkins, Taylor, Pavlik, Martinez or Golovikn. I thought Floyd could beat a shot Martinez, but a near-prime version of any MW champ likely would be too tall a task.

    While the idea of GGG moving to 168 isn't as preposterous as Floyd at 160, Golovkin's size makes him a suspect fit for SMW. The much taller and rangier boxers who have inhabited that space over the years would be too much for him.

    I do think GGG/Ward could happen, but Andre himself has said he isn't ready for a big fight and no one can know yet what he has left. He's young in terms of rounds and damage but has had injuries, layoffs and is now in his 30s. I think he'll be okay, but who knows. Fighters age differently.

    But really, this entire sorry scenario has resulted from points 1 & 2 above.

    The best of the division above will always beat the best of the division below.so to say that the Middies is weak is a flaw.thats why GGG is so good he can go to 154 or 160 or 168 and beat the best.
