Kassim Ouma and GGG fought in June of 2011 , so almost 5 years ago in Panama city on a hot night .

Ouma was very accurate and busy often landing first and in combinations . Fast hands, the jab , hooks , uppercuts , straight punches he landed a lot and clean . Ouma was ahead on my scorecard at the time of the stoppage .

I've never seen GGG miss so much and get hit so often. In the end though GGG stunned Ouma in the 9 th and they stopped it in the 10 th.

Ouma is one tough hombre . Golovkin for whatever reason didn't look dominant like he has in the past few years , he still won but man he took a lot of shots . The fight can be watched at the usual place .

Yes, Ouma gave him a beating before retiring in his corner from a freak shoulder injury.

I had Ouma ahead 8 rds to 1 at the time of the stoppage.
It shows how overrated GGG is when someone stands up to him .

Doesn't look like it's any time soon. They are so content on fighting bums that their last fight was on PPV. They're using the "bark for a payday we will never get tactic" to keep the money rolling and idiotic fan base in tact.

Of course he's not fragile, but he was past it nevertheless.

No he's untouchable, unbeatable and would destroy Hagler, Monzon and Muhammad Ali.

Who could he have fought though? I do think GGG is untested, but who at middle could he fight? Is he required to move up? Hagler never moved up, the big fights came to him from lower division fighters. I think Hagler is super overrated. So I guess yes, GGG needs to move up.

Ouma was a really nice fighter who also gave Taylor a very hard night.

I think it was a great learning fight for G.

Hagler was 5'9 and there was no Super Middleweght division until he was 30. He fought when they weighed in the day of the fight so he was probably 163 in the ring, Moving up to face 6-3 Michael Spinks, or future Crusierweight champion Qawi, for LESS money then he was making wouldn't have made sense.
