GGG has as much blame here as Wilder in the Povetkin fight.

Hmm... Wilder left the country before any ruling and now Canelo is canceling the fight.

How is that the same thing?

If GGG pulled out on the other hand this might had been a thread worth posting.

Povetkin never failed a drug test! I know that much! Is he cheating? As likely as anybody else is.

You do realize that I'm not referring to GGG's arrogance as necessarily being a slur right? I'm arrogant and egotistical as hell, that doesn't make me a cruel and uncaring person, or a bad person, it just means I'm cocky, somewhat full of myself, and lack humility. I would hope most boxers would be cocky and full of themselves, otherwise how else could they perform at the top of their game? You don't go very far in this sport if you have low self worth and think you're a loser and a bum do you? You have to believe in your heart of hearts you can beat people's asses, that alone requires a degree of arrogance, as do most sports.

We have behavioral psychologists out here analysing GGG's subtle gestures and facial cues and they have declared that he is arrogant!

Hey don't take it out on me or anyone else on this thread just because you can't tell when people are low level pompous, its not that hard. Not saying that its a bad thing, I love GGG and his arrogance, same goes for Kovalev and Inoue and Thurman and Saunders, GGG just conceals his supercilious personality a little better than they do.

Haven't you ever asked yourself, how the hell did the parents of a school shooter not know their kid was a psycho, or how could fans of George Michael not realize he was gay as hell? Its really true what they say, its all in the eyes. They're the window to the soul.:eyepop:

He didn't! Otherwise, he wouldn't be boxing right now. He was cleared for a reason. Because they were all wrongdoings!

    Wtf....

GGG and K2 petitioned the WBC to allow any possible suspension to be leveied post fight, retroactive to the the positive tests allowing Alvarez to keep his Sept date as well.

Sulieman went on record just yesterday saying team GGG have been very reasonable as per sanctions.

Loeffler, on behalf of GGG PROMOTIONS, ie, not acting on Wlad and Vitali behalf, but Gennandys ALONE, sent alternative financial requests irt keeping the date and even allowing retroactive exemptions.

Why would GGG carry ANY responsibility for Alvarez backing out?

How can you get to this IMAGINARY parallel when the challenger failed for a PED and the CHALLENGER swerved the fight.
As far as I'm concerned, Povetkin was clean of meldonium, a blood thinner/lubricant with no more performance enhancing properties than an aspirin but banned only because the patent laws protecting it were going to be expunged when the formula were to get into the hands of the USP.
He popped for residual levels since the drug acts as a RBC LUBRICANT and where are RBCs made, in the bone marrow? How long can it be for residue of toxins take to clear bone marrow???
About 18 months in many instances.

Alvarez popped for a known Anabolic, used primarily for weight cutting without the detriment of muscle atrophy.

His levels were 17X the average level of those found to have actually eaten contaminated beef.
Sulieman just told Alvarez and the world that no prefight sanctions were requested by WBC MW Champion. But was instead asked for leniency and allow the fighters to settle the failed tests between themselves.
The NSAC were also preparing to accept the request from Loeffler going as far as postponing the hearing soas the two sides might come to an agreement prefight.

Luckily, no NDAs were made irt failed tests and all this will come out if Alvarez GBP play hardball with punitive settlement.

HBO gonna go forward with a Spike GGG PPV, probably 49.99 instead of 79.99 and Alvarez will likely toss GGG $2-$3 mill to keep the details of team GGGs requests out of the public forum.
But without breaking confidence, I can testify to Loefflers pleas to the NSAC and the WBC irt allowing this to be adjudicated between the fighters because both the WBC and NSAC have gone on record about Golovkins low pressure request for leniency

    Lol you are so off

How come " good boy " is slur lol ?

Its only GGG translating this thoughts from Russian to English where boy is used as young man and not child or kid.

Then, you say he's arrogant but do you remember his interview after the Jacobs fight ? So damn humble

Theres nothing arrogant about GGG and if you want to find somthing like that you should check his Russian interviews, some posters have said he sounds different in those, but from the ones he gives in English he doesnt come off as arrogant at all

    Two positive tests

If povetkin didn't then neither than Canelo

No, there weren't any 'failed' test results for Povetkin. I really don't care about Canelo. And I actually don't care if any boxer takes peds in the first place. But I'm just letting you know that Povetkin never actually FAILED any drug tests. He was CLEARED! Meaning, there weren't any failed tests.
