GGG has as much blame here as Wilder in the Povetkin fight.

I've noticed a couple of mods trying to mix it up a bit on here, throwing out silly opinions that they don't truly believe. GGG arrogant is one of them, he's brought respect to the middleweight title if anything

I never claimed Povetkin wasn't on peds. I only claimed that he never actually failed any drug test. Which is true!

Could he still be using peds, even though he never failed any drug tests? Absolutely! But that applies to every other boxer too. Especially A side boxers. Including Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and etc.

Povetkin looks less likely to be on peds than Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder are (who've also never failed any drug tests either).

You've exposed your ignorance! 1000 nanograms of Meldoinium was allowed after 2016 for athletes (especially those who used Meldonium before 2016). Anything less than that amount was acceptable / allowable and Povetkin merely had around 70 nanograms of Meldonium in his body. Which is 14 times less than 1000 nanograms (the acceptable / allowable amount) and it never went above that amount.

So no, Povetkin never failed any drug tests! And there's 0 evidence that he used meldonium after 2015 (after it was banned).

Mike Tyson was saying how in his 1st boxing match ever he was in the locker room & was crying & trying to back out of it . I think it was teddy Atlas that sat him down & gave him the needed confidence to go out there & blasted the guy is seconds.

I have no idea what GGG is like in real life, he is ,Like most fighters who have made it, following a script Aka Joshua etc .

Looking back you need this "Arrogance" in any walk of life where you may face opposition to your goals...or be a loser ...ask Isal.

Unless you speak his native language I don't think anyone would know what he really is like.

His English is ok but you can see he has to swap English to his native tounge which gives that dopey nice guy character he come across as.

Indeed, I can see it too. He's generally quite respectful in his English interviews. He done one about Froch in Russian which - when translated - wasn't quite as nice.

I'm not trolling or joking around in the least on this one, look into GGG's eye when he's talking, look at the wry all knowing smile he has on his face, he's delivering a performance 90% of the time, he's a great guy, who also happens to be supremely confident in his abilities, even arrogant about them.

Some guys are arrogant in a conceited, or an egotistical way, they're full of themselves like AJ, and others are arrogant in a more prideful way or have a quiet sense of superiority about themselves or their abilities, GGG's arrogance fits into the second category.

Triple GGG stood his ground Deontay ran away that’s a difference between them. One guy believed he could win regardless the other didn’t believe

Right, I've took my GGG love glasses off sec and i'm going to be honest about him. That look your on about I see, its the look of a snake ?? Or that's how I see if I'm being brutally honest. Someone that's added a bit consciously to the good guy roll and not being truly himself. I think though its a thing that he might of acquired to further himself, to get the chances more if that's possible or to play the role because he's an outsider so to speak. I'd say his true character wouldn't be far off his fighting style, cold, no feeling and cut throat. But he's a gentleman compared to the majority of fighters still that are around, or he puts the effort in in a positive way. AJ is a bad person deep down, go out of his way nasty if he didn't have to play the game, the kind that would have to come out on top in everything, even a conversation that would be backed up with a form of subtle intimidation. That interviewer that was pranked by Joshua in the ring that time, when AJ got moody with him over a question, I don't care what anyone says, that was the real Joshua there for a minute, it come second nature and very easy for him, even though it was all a prank so to speak. Watch it if you haven't already and give us your opinion on it. Joshua I think is a product of inherited hate, chip on his shoulder attitude that is ingrained in him

Not really , the situations are worlds apart. Whose to say GGG would have went through with the fight if Canelo was busted on the week of the fight like Povetkin was? You can't say he would have , plus it would probably have been cancelled pending an investigation like Wilder vs Povetkin was.

Wilder knew Pov was on the beast pellets all along , which is why he wasted no time hanging around the UK with a huge team of people he was shelling out for.

When did GGG declare that he was going to go through with it? I don't think he did. There was too much hoopla surrounding this fight since Nelo got popped , it was always going to get canned.
