I enjoy his fights. 've seen some GGG fights where he looks amazing. I saw him live at the Stubhub when he KTFO Rubio.

But I get a feeling that he has not been tested yet and there are a lot of questions. I haven't seen the majority of his fights so has his chin been truly tested? His ability to absorb punishment? His speed seems average, and I feel his defense isn't that great.

Has Golovkin been tested to be ranked amongst the elite or is he just another Great white Hope?

Stevens was known as power puncher, one of the hardest hitting MW's.

He landed 3, 4 punches and Golovkin doesn't even change the expression of his face. His chin is one of the best in boxing these days.

He has taken some shots. I've never seen him in the least bit phased, including punches that should hurt someone.
He is faster than he appears, but he trades speed for near perfect balance all the time.
Watch his balance when he boxes, he is always in a position to punch because of his balance.
He also has enough power to change the fight in one punch, from either hand, so he'll deliberately leave himself open in order to invite attack so he can attack. He almost always gets the better of this exchange.
Personally, there is nobody near his weight that beats him. He is too skilled in areas people have forgotten about. He can take a punch, and he can knock you out with any hand at any time.
It would take someone with Khan's speed, but more punching power to keep him off you, and the ability to take that kind of power a few times in a fight. No matter what, you are going to get hit, and when people have gotten hit, they either are done, or they go into a shell and lack offense.

Stevens has good power and he caught GGG a few times and GGG took it well. I think his chin is solid.

I hope he starts fighting some top comp soon. I'm starting to get bored of him fighting c and b level guys like LSC.

It's not his fault when everyone is ducking him.

Is that offensive? Is boxing not a huge cultural and country sport in large?

If you felt it was a demeaning comment I apologize.

He really hasnt been tested cause hes that good. From 168 down the only man who can test him and possibly beat him is Andre Ward everyone else will be dealt the same way as his previous victims were, viciously and with ease.

No not offended but it doesnt hold much strength, when the best fighter in the world is white Wladimir Klitchko. I always thought that phrase was to do with heavyweight boxing, And had racial undertones, When black people werent treated as equals aka Jack Johnson. and even larry holmes vs gerry ****ey.

So what makes you think Ward would win? Ward was down against a journeyman after a bodypunch. He didn't look good in the first rounds of his last fight against a nobody (instead of fighting GGG back then).
Ward is known as one of the most boing fighters these days, referees on his site, clinching, being featherfisted. Does he have an iron chin? Will GGG never hit him or what? If a journeyman dropped Ward, can't you imagine what GGG does? Especially with a bodypunch?

Not a fan of his but Rubio was the test for me, I just couldn't believe this guy blew him alway that early and with ease.

Wlad is great but his size and holding style brings him success in one of the weakest HW divisions ever.
