GGG has to Move up In Weight if Wants to Be great

    Fighting bigger weaker fighters is not how one has a great career. If we go back 4,5 years that could be the case.

    Mw and lhw are so far better than smw, smw is the weakest division in boxing and one of the all time weakest as of now

    Gennady is already great . He'd the best in the world 168 & under. The way the so called elite 160 pounders avoid him speaks volumes. I heard El Pollo lays an egg if anyone mentions his name

    Answer me this?...... How the hell can Gennady beat the supposed best middleweights when they are all scared to get in the ring with him??? Takes TWO to make a fight.
    BTW If Wade legitimately beats Gennady I'll be the first to congratulate him & call him CHAMP !! He's already got my respect for showing he has the cojones El Pollo & Pretty in Pink etc lack :clap: :clap:

    please....don't anyone demand ggg dare to be great!!! don't you dare dare ggg to be great!!! don't ask him to do anything special or fight special fighters....or to prove his greatness! don't even think about it!!!

    defend ggg at all costs!!! insult all potential rivals!!!

    andre ward tried to make a fight with ggg

    loeffler said "164...actually maybe its possible in 2017 but we wanna unify"......

    and ggg went back into the bum protection program.....lol.....

    I think it's naive to think Andre would have fought him regardless of the weight.

    lol@polish navy....marvin had all time greats to come up and fight in his division......he had fights......ggg is hoping canelo, that got whitewashed by Floyd, will come up to fight him....

    I don't think andre would have fought him at 164...which is my point...ggg saying 164 was a surefire way to ensure the fight couldn't happen....of course andre wouldn't have fought him at 164....168 would have been tough for ward but he would have done it for that fight.....

    that's why k2s statements were two fold....one they threw out a weight they knew ward wouldn't accept and then they said "well ya...anyways...maybe 2017"

    we'll never know if ward could or couldn't have made it because baby nuts golovkin was afraid to even say 168 when ward was mentioned....lol

    Floyd definitely had more courage because he wasn't afraid to fight bigger men. In your little world, you think that Floyd having long arms, somehow negates this size and weight advantages that he's faced. Liek Ive told you a thousand times, height, reach and other dimensions are criteria in seperating fighters. No sanctioning body is going to say, "well they are within 10lbs of each other, but fighter A's arms are too long so its not fair". That's nonsense and thats essentially the crux of your argument.

    But I can play along too. Since you want to throw height and and reach in there as excuses for why GGG shouldn't move up in weight like Floyd, lets throw Punching power in there. When's the last time GGG fought someone with more punching power than himself? Floyd in addition to being outweighed, has been at a disadvantage in terms of punching power for virutally all of his fights at WW and 154. So not only is he not afraid to fight bigger men with weight advantages, but's he not afraid to fight bigger men who punch harder than him.

    Bottom line, no matter what type of skewed logic you want to use, Floyd has shown more courage in his career and dared to be great by moving up and challenging humself against larger men. Thats why he's an ATG. GGG will be lucky to make the hall because he's afraid to move up and challenge himself and his resume is a joke.
