GGG hasn't Stepped Foot in Gym Since Canelo Fight

I really like him as a fighter but he gets caught on his heels too much now. The Jacobs and Brook fights (despite winning both) are where I saw the first real chinks in his armour and method.

 

no he did not show chinks with his first genuinely world class opponents. it was them being world class and the others not.

and rest assured 3G does not need a gym. Gyms need 3G.

But, bear in mind he was 34/35 and has probably had 400 fights. That's a lot of millage

 

bear in mind that he had 399 fights with vanes, 396 fights with Wade, 380 fights with 10 IBO bums beofre that and that was a lot of mileage at the time too, but bumkilling is easy regardless.

Quicl calculation, in 400 fights, 1 fight makes 0.25% different in mileage. 4 fights make a 1% difference in mileage.

SO there is 0.25% difference in mileage between Canelo and Vanes, and 0.5% difference mileage between Vanes to Wade, and 1% difference between Wade to GGG's ibo bums.

The mileage argument is thus a scientifically proven insignificant difference.

 

Canelo made GGG a good boy...

 

he has had so many training camps it won't be a problem but i fear he is showing signs of age. His foot speed, hand speed have diminished.

 

That is unquestionable , he looked like a 36 year old against Canelo. If he wants to keep fighting take the winner of Canelo and Jacobs. There's no reason for a tune up at his age, nothing to gain.

He was not in Big Bear since last September but I’m sure he is doing some kind of workout to stay fit.

Let 3G get over his depression, it must be tough to have just won his first title and then have ti taken away from him by having to vacate to avoid Derev, not to mention getting beat by what people see as a WW/LMW.
