Apparently, Bivol has signed the contract, but talks are ongoing between Golovkin and DAZN to resolve issues, sources said.

What GGG and DAZN issues are there? Also why the 2-fight deal? Canelo's a free agent, why not do a one-fight deal with Bivol, announce that fight for May. Why does Canelo need GGG to be involved in this deal? GGG is scheduled to fight Murata in April. Canelo is trying to fight Bivol in May. What is the benefit of trying to lock both fighters into a September deal when they each have another fight before that?

If GGG wanted to fight Canelo so badly, then he wouldn't be the one holding this up. For all the talk on this forum about how Canelo has been ducking GGG and refuses to fight him, and all GGG wants is to fight Canelo, then why has Canelo verbally agreed to the 2 fight deal including a fight with GGG but GGG continues to stall negotiations with whatever demands he's trying to make? This report reveals that Canelo isn't holding up the trilogy, it's GGG. If he verbally agreed to fighting Bivol and GGG, and Bivol has also agreed, but GGG hasn't, then who's the diva here? Who's the one making diva demands?

GGG not ready to sign deal. What's the holdup GGG?

Canelo held up for several years. There's a stark contrast.

There's a stark contrast between reality and what is claimed as it relates to Canelo and GGG.

So you are making a post about GGG possibly holding up the fight, but have no clue why, and you blame GGG for not agreeing to the terms that no one seems to know ?

Negotiations exist because all parties need to be on board. Ffs...

Maybe Golovkin is giving Alvarez a taste of his own medicine. Remember Alvarez’s special weight shenanigans and stalling until GGG aged day by day. Not to mention additives and dubious judging.

lmao it exposes the entire idea that has been floated around here by guys like you that Canelo has been the one avoiding GGG. Canelo's verbally agreed to the 2 fight deal, he's agreed to fight GGG in September. It's GGG who refuses to agree to the trilogy. GGG is the one holding everything up. Canelo and Bivol have agreed to fight, but are waiting for GGG to find his pen lmao. What's the holdup? Canelo has agreed to fight Bivol and GGG. Why hasn't GGG agreed to fight Canelo? What's he waiting for? What's the "issues" GGG has with DAZN? Why is GGG such a diva when it comes to negotiations?

I thought his inflated contract included a third Canelo fight. DAZN even said they needed it to happen to return the losses from his other fights. Im surprised he even has wiggle room, to be honest. Not exactly "Id fight him for free at the park on a Tuesday."

What special weight shenanigans? You mean the weight shenanigans that Oscar talked about but never happened?

What part of Canelo agreeing to fight GGG but GGG not being ready to sign don't you understand? GGG's aging himself, he hasn't fought in over a year. Canelo is ready to fight GGG, but GGG is not ready to fight Canelo. That's the situation, deal with that because it's the complete opposite of the story you've been telling since the rematch. Now granted, Canelo wasn't lobbying to fight GGG after he beat him. But this news of GGG holding up the trilogy and Canelo ready to make it happen is important, because it reveals who has agreed to the trilogy and who hasn't. Canelo has agreed to DAZN's terms, GGG hasn't. Why is that? Is GGG getting cold feet about fighting Canelo again? I thought GGG wanted to fight Canelo so bad, that's what his fans have been saying all this time, apparantly GGG don't want it that bad now does he if he's stalling and refusing to sign the contract. What is he waiting for? Make the fight happen GGG. It's sitting in your lap G-man, don't be a diva.

Exactly, it reveals how much a diva GGG really is. What GGG says in public is and how he acts behind the scenes are very different. With the way his fans have been talking about how much GGG wants the trilogy, you think he's jump at the chance to sign the contract that DAZN offered. But that's not the case, now is it? GGG has the fight he and his fans have been begging for since the loss. It's right there for him to sign, but no, GGG isn't ready to sign lol. It's very telling isn't it, that GGG isn't really the man his fans made him out to be now is he. It's Canelo who's ready to fight, but GGG who's ducking and stalling, trying to negotiate more $$, or making demands. Whatever it is, he's the one holding up the trilogy from happening, not Canelo.

Yeah part of it is pointing out that GGG isn't ready to sign the contract. The other part is asking why? Why hasn't GGG signed if as his fans have claimed all this time he's so eager to fight Canelo? Clearly GGG has taken pause with signing this fight. Has GGG got cold feet? Is he getting nightmares about the rematch and second guessing whether he really wants to get in there with Canelo again? What's the delay GGG? Why is GGG the diva holding everybody up? Sign the contract G man, stop stalling.

Lower case g has every right to be salty after those decisions.

But he has to get real. Canelo is the A'est of A sides in boxing right now.
