    Everytime someone says Gennady is Russian, multiple posters show up and say no he's not he's Kazakh, He's Korean he's this that or the other.

    He is half Russian and Half Korean, nothing else, his father has strong Slavic Russian Features his mother has strong Korean features.

    So Gennady is basically part Slavic Russian. Gennady is part EE and part Asian. Quit trying to de-emphasize the Russian.

    Just like Chris Algieri is basically Italian even though his family is from Argentina and before that Italy.

    WEll Bute was pretty hyped up at one point especially on ESB.. He had a Lucian Bute battleship thread that went on for pages and pages and.

    I always told these Canadian pansies that Bute aint **** and that he's going to get knocked off as soon as he faces somebody with a heartbeat and that's exactly what happened against Froch. :yep LOok at them now, all quiet.. haha

    I feel the same way about GGG. HE looks sensational against these tomato cans and part time construction workers but let's see when he fights somebody with a pulse..

    Stop associating GGG with Russians, man. He said "

    ". He just wanted to clear thing up with regards to where he belongs and he always smirks when people associate him with Russians. During his amateur experience GGG had to participate in Kazakhstan - Russia competitions and it was always Russians who tried to diminish his achievements, **** even now they mention Pirog as the one who beats GGG and always come up with Gaidarbekov as the one staying above lol.

    Here is a recent interview with his mama:
    - Elizavetta Viktorovna (his mom's name), did you notice how welcome and embraced GGG is on Russian television now?

    So people just stop it. There was always rivalry in the amateur boxing world between Kazakhstan and Russia, although to many Americans it's all the same. So educate yourselves, and don't listen to Russians claiming GGG is somehow related to them. It's as close as Floyd to South Africans.
