I read it differently though. Had his statement been less hyperbolic, such as: 'it was clear GGG won the fight, it was never in doubt' that would be a reasonable starting point for revisionism. But to openly state such a fantastical theory that GG dominated, opens up GG's nuthuggers - and more importantly GG himself - to ridicule. Gil Gonzalez and the like feel so let down by GG being exposed as merely mortal they are starting to turn on him. Defending his performance in such an obviously exaggerated way leaves him exposed to ridicule. And that's what they want because he has failed them. It's the psychology of denial as it slowly unravels expressed through passive aggressive anger. The flip of allegiance to Loma will be the next stage. It would have been Krusher but he's damaged goods - for now...

Well who understands some of the Golovers. First Canelo is huge weighing up to 185 on fight night. Then sometimes the Golovers say he's too small for Golovkin.

You should know the title doesn't define the fighter, the fighter makes the title.

    Canelo > Saunders

Canelo would always be a quality win for anyone as he is an elite fighter, a P4P fighter, the MW Lineal champion, a two division, 4 time world champion.

Sanders is just a WBO MW titlist with his best win being over an unproven fighter at the world level.

So its legacy + retirement type money OR collecting an overrated, inflated, ABC trinket?

    Ggg needs to choose wisely.

I don't care if Canelo is too big or too small for Golovkin but if Canelo fights Chavez @ 164 I see no reason why he can't fight Golovkin @160

Canelo has done nothing at middleweight and is unproven there

Geale was also a unified champion now he is called a bum same will happen to Canelo after he fights Golovkin

Agree here Saunders isn't a big name but at least he will fight Golovkin. Oscar and Canelo are just playing games.
If Canelo loses vs Chavez Jr the Golovkin fight is dead anyway. But if Canelo wins and doesn't want to fight at 168 he just can't ignore Golovkin anymore

Lol Oscar is running a train on K2 atm, he has them making up fake injuries to preserve this imaginery Canelo fight in September. GGG's team are incompetent, they should just forget about Canelo and focus on being undisputed because there is no way I can see Canelo fighting him in september. Expect Canelo to rematch Chavez if the fight is close or fight Saunders just to screw over GGG some more.

Hey look! The guy who wished GGG permanent neurological damage from the Jacobs fight to the point where he would not be able to interact with his children is still posting.

    lol....ya

we heard about how big canelo is on fight night...so big that it made the fight totally legit and fair at 160...but the minute they "THINK" jacobs weighed 185 and golovkin looked fairly pedestrian it became "well golovkin was in there with a cruiserweight man this isnt fair"

You continually clutch at the lineal 160 pound title Canelo won at a catch weight of 155 pounds and imply it is something GGG desperately needs. Why?

What makes the lineal middleweight title so special compared to:

    The titles Golovkin already has?
    (WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO)

The title held by Billy Joe Saunders?
    (WBO)

I assume you know what the lineal title is meant to represent?

If you don't, in its purest sense it is meant to be the man who beat the man who beat the man.

Are you aware how tenuous the middleweight lineal title's links are to the history of the middleweight division?

Pollo Canelo is the only boxer Who called his nemesis in the ring, after hed won his fight, challenged his nemesis even bragged " Put my gloves back on lets get it on now" !! But the WBC spoiled his bravado by ordering him to defend his WBC belt/ Instead he meekly hands the belt back like a cowardly loud mouth wussie. Even his own countrymen disown him ROFLMAO
