Bringing race in to this I see? What a clown. Every middleweight worth a damn wants nothing to do with GGG. GGG would have to give his entire purse to the other middleweights just to get them inside the ring.

If 3G can't find a guy at 160 that wants to fight! There is a young hungry lion at 168 who's next fight got cancelled due to injury! He should be ready by September! Why not fight him? It is very hypocritical for G fans to support this behavior! If G is as good as his fans claim then he should have no problem moving up in weight to get fights made! I don't want to hear about how G wants all the belts and break records! Don't call up a guy 2 division smaller than you when you have Lara one step below! And don't tell me that Lara isn't a big name! He will do just as good numbers as Brook, maybe not in England but, that should not make a difference! G wants to be the best, his fans claim he's the best but, he's not fighting the best! The man has 2 guys, one below and one above his division, he can fight and have been calling him out and he pulls this! I don't know G fans! I like G baby but , yall gonna have some splainin to do!
And you are correct when you say G said he would fight anyone! But he said it in the context that he would fight anyone from 154 to 168! Meaning he would go to the division and fight, not call up welters to 160! Nice try but, you failed in your feeble attempt to justify your hero's actions!

GGG has so many options its not even funny. Brook is a stay busy fight and a big english pay check.

After Ward get annihilated by Kovalev HBO will probably make Ward go back to 168 and fight GGG for good money.

Then Ramirez will hopefully defeat chavez jr and GGG takes on the winner.

by that time Eubank jr v. BJS rematch with have happened...he can fight the winner.

Then canelo has no choice but to fight GGG because he cannot get below 160lbs.

The future is bright and lucrative for GGG. There are so many options.

I'm not saying this is a good fight, I'm not even suggesting its competitive but let's refresh our memories.

Do you remember the things you lot say? Is there any consistency in people like you?

It's all about BUSINESS isn't it? About low risk high reward isn't it? Boosting profile isn't it?

That's all we heard when Canelo moved from potentially fighting Golovkin to now fighting Liam Smith (a fight you said wasn't happening).

Golovkin is getting paid LARGE for a fight he will be and is a huge favourite in. Far more money than he'd earn for fighting anybody willing to fight him at this moment in time.

So you part time business experts should be praising Golovkin, his team, his promoter and everybody connected to him for getting a payday this large for a fight like this on a huge PPV event, that will boost his profile in the UK and that will go worldwide :good

The real hypocrites are people like you :good

It's a pity no MW has the ***** that Brook has shown. Props to Brook for jumping at the chance - no lose situation for him IMO.

If you want to hate fan boys then hate on the sanctioning bodies that have allowed Jacobs, BJS and Canelo to call themselves the champion of the MW division. Even they know they are cannon fodder waiting to "get paid what they deserve" ad nauseum.:dead

All you said is BS and has absolutely nothing to do with G fighting Brook! Why fight Brook when G can fight Ramirez or Lara! Both men have been calling him out! But he chooses to fight a welterweight! Come on bro, you must admit, saying that Brook is the only one in or around G's division that will fight him is a straight up lie! G is selling out! He doesn't care about his fans, or the sport, or the belts! He's only looking out for his pocket book, which is fine, just come out and admit it! Even Floyd didn't lie to his fans about that! Everybody knew what Floyd was about and he still fought better op than G has or ever will! It's time the G fans start admitting that G ain't ever gonna fight anyone that can bring it! He will hide behind this fabricated aura that his fans created and walk off into the sunset having never challenged himself and fooling all his fans! That's what I think! I do hope I'm wrong, because I do believe he is a tremendous fighter with a great skill set but, fear he will never step it up! If he was going to he would have taken on either Lara or Rameriz not bring up a welter weight! Damn G at least fight dude at a catch weight!

Smart business... True! But his fans must stop acting like he wants tougher fights but, no body will get in the ring with him when there are 2 guys that are larger than Brook, calling him out! You mentioned being consistent, well... now's the time! I've never read a post from a G fan saying he fights for the big bucks only! Ok, smart guy, if G is out for a big payday why didn't he jump at the chance to fight Canelo at 155? Let me guess, that's wrong and too risky but, bringing up a welter weight is smart business and good for G's career! Try again! the smartest thing G could have done is fight Canelo, the most popular fighter in the world, not just England, for the biggest pay day he will ever get and a popularity bump that would put him into a whole new realm of s****om! Now that would have been good business! G fans be like :smh

Any fighter fighting against high level opposition constantly deserves a fight or two on between as soft touches.

Golovkin has no excuse for this.
