Catchweights are ridiculous, yes... but if GGG passes on this because of a weight stipulation, he is an idiot. He won't get a bigger fight than this.

It has been safely proven that Canelo is the A-side and would hold all the cards to a Golovkin fights. I'm not a fan of catchweights at all, but if he wants the fight he'll need to bow....

GGG's biggest payday is peanuts comparatively.

IF he could make 155 without killing himself I agree with you.

I think catchweights are BS but it would make business sense IF Golovkin could make that weight comfortably. But something tells me he might struggle.

fkin re****. cantnelo is the lineal middle weight champ. wtf would this fight be a catchweight. ggg wasnt trying to take ward's belt @ 168 so a catch weight wouldnt have matter. enjoy it while it last. canelo gonna get starched when he meets triple G @ 160

GGG is a moron if he drains himself and loses a fight he should win. I think GGG is good for 158, anything below and who knows. Don't know why anyone would want to pay good PPV money to see a fight where there is a high likelihood that one guy is sick and drained.

Oh ffs, now I'm being called a Canelo nut hugger. The only r**ard here is you. I'm talking reality and you're talking like a wishful, ignorant boxing fan.

THE REALITY is, if Canelo wants it at 155, it will be at 155. If GGG passes on this big of a fight (when he ALREADY said he'd go to 154) he would be a fool.

as I said a$$wipe, catchweights are ridiculous, but Canelo is holding the Ace. Wake the f**k up or stop watching boxing.

I think you overestimate Canelos hand a bit. GGG can still make good money fighting mandos, and has the WBO belt to chase. He can wait Canelo out a year and likely obtain another belt in the process while Canelo finds it harder and harder to make 155.

If Canelo doesn't drop 160lb honors, he will come under increasing fan pressure to stop wrecking any 160lb challengers he faces who come in weight drained and he is the type where that will bother him.

Should Canelo insist on 155, better for K2 to just wait it out.
