Canelo should be laughed out of the sport for such despicable and cowardly demands. He is disgracing the proud history of his people and the only ones who support such actions are not real fans of the sport simply fan boys or people with pervasive agendas.

here we go with the name calling you belligerent fool. he said he would goto 154 for floyd because floyd hasnt fought above 154. canelo is the lineal middle weight champ now and should defend his title @ the 160 limit if he wants to be called the middle weight champ. get that through your head you fkin re**** and no im not calling you a re**** just because, i really think you are one since you cannot comprehend simple boxing weight classes.

Yeah. GGG could do 158 without much of a problem. Maaaaaybe 157, but I'd shoot for 158 if I were GGG's team. Honestly, I don't know why Canelo doesn't come up to 160. He might find he has much more stamina and power. Even at Canelo's age, melting off so many pounds impacts you in the ring.

First off...YOU called me a name first (re read your post genius), so really, how stupid are you?

GGG has also said he wants Canelo. Canelo is the biggest fight for him south of 175. Canelo said 155 or nothing. It is a FACT that Canelo already IS the MW champion and 155 IS THE MW division. You are beyond dumb and can't seem to comprehend the FACTS that I posted. Like I said, you are talking like an ignorant fan who lives on dreams and unicorns and I am talking about the business of boxing.

Since you're so f**king DUMB and can't see that the FIRST THING I SAID...THE VERY FIRST THING, was that catchweights suck, then there is no point talking to an idiot like you. We're done.

At the very least, Cotto fought Geale and Martinez at 158/159 lbs. 155 lbs. is an effing disgrace.

GGG doesn't really have anyone else to fight at 160. 157 would be a fair compromise.

    Catchweight non title
    160 for belts
    Very simple

If Canelo demands 155lb then boxing fans shouldn't just be like " oh that's business"

Fans and any media with integrity should not be impressed with catchweight title fights

Canelo is a moron if he continues to drain himself.
He's going to have to pay money for a CW and still get KO'd.
    That's the "A-side"

As much as I think this catchweight bull**** is utterly ridiculous I tend to agree with the TS - GGG needs that big fight and time's not on his side. Provided he can make the weight without losing too much he should take it.

Given their relative ages I suspect Canelo would come to the ring with a 5 - 10lb weight advantage, but it's my personal belief that even a 165lb GGG could beat a 175lb Canelo without too much fuss.

Canelo team is desperate. In this case, guy who walks heavier wants to make catch weight of 155. It can also backfire heavily because Canelo is loosing a lot of weight. In any case, its up to GGG if he wants to give Canelo advantages. IMO GGG (The only real champion at MW with honour and respect to the sport) beats him anyway.

even if GGG went down to a CW, he still makes Ginger his son

this would be like Hopkins-DLH all over again, with GGG going with Canelo's BS demands of a CW and still knocking him out

As long as there is no rehydration cap clause written into the contract, GGG should sign ASAP.
