Not mad just doesn't make any sense. Apple is a American company they have plenty of American boxers to chose from.

This stranger with a cheeky boyish smile from a foreign land faraway, who only arrived on US shores three years ago and who speaks limited English is more popular in Ward's own country than he is and Ward has lived their his entire life, speaks the language fluently, been showcased on US TV far longer (his pro debut in 2004 was shown on HBO whereas Gennady didn't make his first appearance on US TV until 2012 lol), and to rub salt further into the wound Ward is America's only Olympic gold medalist in just shy of 20 years.

Don't even get me started on their respective popularity worldwide either. Gennady's fights are broadcast in over 100 countries across the globe and his next fight is being shown in over 120, Ward's fights aren't even broadcast in 100 households outside of his home country. Gennady also has royalty attending his fights sometimes, His Serene Highness Albert II, Sovereign Prince of Monaco no less who is a big fan of his and was used to be an enthusiastic sportsman himself, participating in cross country, javelin throwing, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, rowing, sailing, skiing, squash and fencing. The only prince you'll ever see attending the supposedly ''devout Christian'' Ward's fights is that nefarious little gangster dwarf James Prince.

Ward even gets boos in his home state by the Californian Mexican contingent who come to watch Gennady, the same state where Kazakh born Gennady shifts more tickets than homeboy Ward too. Ward's still dreaming of his first PPV in his homeland, meanwhile foreign boy from a distant land far away who has only been on US soil for three years has even pipped him to that too.

Remember when Golovkin's '2 Days: Portrait of a Fighter' HBO feature was the highest rated of the series. That was back in 2013 when he fought Gabe Rosado which was only Golovkin's second fight on US soil. I think it did better than the 2 Days features they did about Brandon Rios, Adrien Broner, Sergio Martinez, Mikey Garcia, James Kirkland, Nonito Donaire and even the one on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

And now Gennady is the star of his own Apple commercial featuring only him, not a tiny little cameo in a Nike one that you'd miss if you blinked that features lots of other athletes.

That is what I'm talking about. Real talk. Recognize.

Apple is the World company now. They need a star who will have an appeal not only in Americas, but in Europe and Asia too. Golovkin having white and Asian blood is perfect for that.

Crawford is very good boxer, thurman is limited and not too exciting either, wilder is a joke. GGG fought and defeted top middleweights, wilder never fought top heavyweight and as his last fight showed he is limited can crusher.

GGG's resume is only slightly better than Wilder's it's not anything to write home about so stop it. Thurman has been called exciting and he's well spoken with a big personality I just don't get it.

It's an American company first. I may be wrong but I highly doubt this is a worldwide commercial in the first place.

Golovkin is better known than those two. Wilder is not very well promoted to the general public in my humble opinion. Has he ever been invited to some general sport shows like GGG for example ??

Just curious, what country are you from? Why do you take so much delight in this but take no delight about a possible fight between the two? You can't get your win over Ward in the ring so you take it out of the ring? If so that's pretty pathetic and you sound like a crazed fanboi more than a real boxing fan and you're everything wrong with boxing today.

It's great for GGG and all, but that Apple commercial bothers the **** out of me. It shows him shadowboxing and then he stops, bring up his left hand to look at the watch, but then they cut to someone's right hand wearing the watch.

GGG definitely does. Also, they need a positive personality, while Kovalev was already tainted with his racist remarks/jokes.

Kovalev isn't tainted. He has a much bigger personality than GGG and also more proven.
