Bernard Hopkins and Canelo have both done more than GGG up to this point

hopkins has done three times as much sure.but there is no way on earth you can claim Canelo-0-1 has done more.

The public wanted him to face Arthur and Pavlik and he quacked out of both those fights. The nuthuggers like to go on about how great GGG is cos the mighty Sturms avoided him , well he had more pressure on him to face both Arthur and Pavlik so if they don't get credit for being avoided by Sturm , then GGG doesn't either.

    Faith?

    LOL

The man has already openly DUCKED Andre Ward and Erislandy Lara - and yet you think he's going to trump Roy's legacy after the age of 35?

    Lay off the crack pipe...

I suppose the thread is about middleweight, and Canelo hasn't done as much as him at middleweight, certainly.
But if it was referring to current middleweights and what they've done in boxing then it's fair to say Canelo has done more imo

I talked only about accomplishment @160 where I think GGG is way above Abraham.
All bigger names Abraham has faced are 168 pounders.
AA best MW oppontent @MW might be either Eastman, Miranda or Janthua
GGG would knockout either of them in 6 rounds or less

yes true canelo has acheived more overall despite being nearly a decade younger. But Canelo is an elite, a thoroughbred.

no hes not,. KK, we must not lie if we are to be true fans. Arthur has 10 defences. 3G's begin with or just after Danny Geale.

Whilst I fully believe 3G will pass 10 very soon, we cant pretend he has more than Arthur until he does. This is called reality.

If you lie about 3G, then you take away the joy we shall feel when 3G really does surpass Arthur. Your lies will rob us of our greatest celebrations.

The more fans like you and me lie or lose touch with reality about 3G, the more we ruin his legacy.

I'm not so sure about that. Bumlovkin is there to be hit and Miranda is in the conversation with regards to the biggest punchers ever @ 160.

I already knew about GGG around that time but I have to agree GGG was worldwide unknow until 2012
The point is If Sturm had the balls to face GGG in 2009 Golovkin would probably had unification fights with Pavlik or Martinez already in 2010
