    Golovkin has beaten former champion in Geale, he has tried to get a fight with Quillin, Sturm, he tried to get a fight with Martinez, he offered to go down to 154 and fight Mayweather, but Void would never come near him. Roach will never allow Cotto to come near Golovkin, easy knockout for Golovkin....................Golovkin will become the mandatory for the winner of Cotto Vs. TBA..................so Cotto will give up the title rather than fight Golovkin...........

    Golovkin said it live on HBO, yes, he would come down to 154. Martinez said he would come down to 154 to fight Void also. Void is still running from Pac. However, Void will never fight Golovkin, Cotto will never fight Golovkin either, but Golovkin will become the mandatory for the winner of Cotto Vs. TBA. I expect Cotto to give up his title rather than fight Golovkin.

    Cotto need to quit the lineal title and move down in weight a fight with Golovkin is wining less because of the strength and size disparity if Margarito a smaller man than Golovkin manage to walk down over a midget in Cotto why do you think Cotto had a chance, people that want GGG versus Cotto are Cotto haters, Cotto need to move down quit the belts and fight Canelo at 155 or 154 lbs that's the best route, then pursue a rematch with Floyd, Cotto do not belong in the ring with Golovkin not for the skills but for the disparity in strength. Cotto looked like a midget in 154lbs let alone 160. Fans of GGG need to focus on a real chanllegne for Him like Ward, Quillin or one of the multiple wba belt holders, not Pac, Cotto or Floyd, those fighters already had move up 6 to 4 weight classes and are not the same as their prime weight.

    Golovkin is the best possible contender at mw for cotto's title. If cotto has no intention of fighting actual middleweights it would be for the best. interest of the division if he just went back down in weight, better paydays for him there anyway

    I think Cotto is going to move down a lot of better money fight down in His ideal weight, He can fight fighters from 154lbs and big welterweights, that is a red hot division. Cotto is a blown up welter.

    people don't hate cotto, but the charade being made of lineal titles. in fact, most hatred in this thread is directed at ggg. his only challenge with quillin is getting the shameless fraud in the ring, and ward still ain't fighting.

    As long as he keeps on winning he will be Cotto's mandatory.
    WBC is a disgrace, they are waiting on Cotto to see if his 'voluntary' will yield them more money than fight with Golovkin.

    Surely they would approve Cotto-Mayweather for that commission $$

    You're obviously not impressed with his resume but if you're going to call him "Triple Duck" over and over please name the top fighters that have tried to make a fight with GGG and have been ducked by GGG.

    STFU and learn about boxin Martinez was the one calling Cotto out like He was His daddy. Cotto took the oportunity because was a good money, winnable and a chance to become the first boricua two achieve 4 titles in diferent division, other than that He have no interest in staying as champ, people critizice Martinez for that then all forgot about it and now critize Cotto for fighting a shot fighter, yes Cotto a well past His prime fighter that is way smaller than Martinez. The only interest in Cotto is making money by trying to leng His carrer more. You and everybody here now that Cotto has no bussiness at middleweight less fighting GGG that is bigger than Martinez, thats why Im not surprised if He manage to vacate the title very smart move. cotto do not deserve to be the champion at that weight thats why people do not recognize him as a champion. So please learn more about boxing or change to other sport.
