    And don't forget the potential for either Mayweather vs Cotto II or Mayweather vs Canelo.
    Do these people think WBC is gonna sanction the winner of Cotto vs Alvarez fight Golovkin at the expense of the fee that they could get from the winner of that fight fighting Mayweather.

    I'd rather watch cotto-canelo I and II than any of them fighting ggg. I dont give a damn about ggg vs cotto/canelo, the fight that I want is cotto vs canelo, and if the first match is good enough, then cotto vs canelo II :wooo

    Because either of them vs GGG would be horrible for the haters, because let's face it....all you f ckers know GGG WOULD SMOKE EITHER OF THEM,or anyone else from 164 down. You all love the "elite" ducking GGG so you can sh!t on his resume even though you know he is the best. It's so pathetic really.

    Not if the other top contenders are not fighting him, whether by avoidance or stuck in contracts where they fight each other multiple times - you can only fight who will face you, as is always said. Only way it would is if he blatantly ducks or avoids said fighter at MW. Froch fight would do him a lot of good too, if he can get him out of retirement! May not attract Cotto or Saul, mind.

    Yes because Hopkins didn't get any love until he fought Trinidad. He still gets no love outside of hardcore fans today and he's rich!!! Oscar gets love, Floyd, Tito, even Teddy Atlas just for knowing Mike Tyson, but Hopkins get **** on majorly especially on ESB's thread history.

    I actually understand this, since it's a colossal money spinner, a clash of egos and what is accepted to be a very good fight at the very least, true, I believe GGG has much more claim to this shot than Canelo but we know how boxing works, Golovkin is simply nowhere near the draw these two are, whilst not his fault.

    Golovkin already knows he won't get Canelo after Canelo whoops Cotto. De La Hoya said Canelo is still young. The Golovkin fight is a fight thats three years off. I have no issue with hit. Canelo is only 25 and still young.

    I don't think Mayweather rematches Canelo at 155. Canelo can't even make 154 let alone 152 anymore.
