Vanes is a much better boxer than Washington , but he's from a lower division and hasn't been heard of in over two years. Plus he's being trained by Rouseys trainer. He may as well be winging it.

Wilder was actually given a bit of credit for fighting prime unbeaten Washinston on 4 weeks notice. GGG is only using Vanes so he can hide from the rest of the division. He will do the same against Canelo.
An undersized Canelo with flat feet , poor work rate and terrible stamina is the perfect opponent for Golovkin and i predict he'll piggy back off him for the rest of his career.

Rousey's trainer!? Oh god. Striking was legit the worst part about her game.

Canelo didn't look undersized to me, in fairness. Even so, Spike O'Sullivan's latest tweets indicate he may well be being lined up for Canelo in Sept. Which adds up because I don't see him wanting the GGG rematch after a year off. Assuming that's the case, if he swerves either Charlo or Sergey D then I'll be mightily pissed off. Unless he goes against Saunders, which is cool too.

Damn whats with all this GGG is a ducker business? With the career he has had, taking on and beating every single fighter that stepped up, and there is plenty who never wanted to, how can we be questioning him so much now. This May fight is a joke, him and his opponant have been screwed over, they aint gettin much money and the whole thing was meant to be GGG CANELO. I keep saying, let this one get swept aside then Golovkin can sit down and look at what challenges are on offer to him and what mandatories he needs to be ticking off.

I would say he is at the near end of his career and for the whole of it he has been anything but a ducker but then ive just realised all these GGG ducking threads are all coming from the same 2 or 3 names and they are known Golovkin haters. So ive also just realised anybody, like me, trying to argue the case is just wasting their time.

Thats good news cos id rather Canelo not hog up all the belts again after failing a peds test. Plus , this doesn't look like a guy who will be fighting GGG in Sept. If you ask me , he should walk away and target a fight which BJS which would be on PPV over here. Holding out on Canelo stinks when he has so many other options.

GGG has been at MW over a decade, and he's been a champion for over 7 years and just recently fought his first two world level opponents. Charlo just got there and he is already gunning for the champion. Huge difference.

GGG fought a load of top 10 middleweights! so I've idea what you are talking about! You are talking like he is Wilder or Tyron Zeuge. The top of theP4P lists is dominated by white fighters you need to deal with that without feeling the need to tell lies!

Nice little comeback fight for someone who would who just had surgery and is coming off a 1 year lay off.

Terrible fight for a 7 year MW champion.

Is this the Canelovers new strategy? Trying to divert the attention to the guy that was the biggest victim of the clenbuterol scandal, and call him a ducker for all supposed possible fights in advance?

As I recall correctly, and it's hard because it's quite a while ago, Jermall became his mandatory all the way back on the 21st of April 2018, and Golovkin is due to fight at May 5th of this year...

He is worse than Wilder. GGG has been champion close to 8 years, Wilder only 3, and yet their resumes look awfully similar with the exception that when Wilder did stepped up he KTFO his opponent, GGG arguably lost. Them is facts.

    Lemeiux=Stiverne

    Here’s an important question:
Will Canelo vs Spike be ppv?
    Lol

Insert versions of this reply from the usual suspects:

Wow! Almost 2 weeks! So GGG is ducking him too! If Golovkin doesn fight Charlo and Sergiy on the same night he's the biggest ducker in history. smh

Lol Ok you're trolling. GGG's resume is far better than Wilders and he has won 3 world titles.

People are quick to forget / purposely forget that for example at the time he fought Martin Murray, Murray was seen as a top 3 middleweight, and Macklin was a highly though of top 5 middleweight, Geale just 18 months before they fought was unified WBA/IBF champ, Lemeiux was world champion and looking like a beast at the time. Even Proksa was a top 10 middleweight at the time they fought. Whereas Wilder has only fought 2 top 10 men.

GGG's top 8 wins - Alvarez, Brook, Murray, Jacobs, Lemeiux, Macklin, Geale, Ouma

Wilders top 8 wins - Ortiz, Stiverne, Szpilka, Duhaupas, Arreola, Scott, Washington, Harrison

    No comparison.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Charlos are just this wave's Dirrell Bros? Hugely overhyped and will be found out at the top table if I'm right.
