If we're talking about the likelihood of his opponent going down an being unable to get up per clean headshot he is clearly not. He doesn't have one punch KO power which guys like Lemieux wilder and Stevenson have but GGG is a VERY hard punching pressure fighter. But in terms I raw power it's not quite at the top because there are some of fighters who can knock a guy with a decent chin out with one shot even if they're badly losing the fight, like a Randall Bailey, but in terms of how well he applies it it's top notch

Its raw trust me even heavyweights in sparring are shocked with his power david said he had very heavy hands.

I agree also its his placement and accuracy he never wastes punches

Golovkin's jab is harder the everyone's right hands

Yeahhh... not the most, Julian Jackson was the prime example of just raw power.

Did you see him knocking people out? He had that one shot knock you dead kinda power.

One punch and a lot of guys literally went unconscious on the floor, you don't see that with GGG opponents. Look at these guys fall LOL

did you see Golovkin spark out ishida? ishida now even fights at heavyweights ishida went 12 rounds with pirog that knockout was brutal.

Golovkin knocked down few people with jabs alone

The other thing to consider here when people fight Golovkin after they feel the power they fight defensive

I agree...The way he dropped Cloud with one arm while Cloud was clinching him was scary. Watch at 2 min 50.

    Sure, that was pretty good.

And yes I watched it, lol.

Golovkin's fun to watch, an elite fighter. No one disputes that, I'll be watching tomorrow night.

We both love Golovkin that's for sure!

Jacobs is a big middleweight with power has the reach this will not be a easy fight and if it is big credit needs to be given to Golovkin.

How do you rate Golovkins chin nearly 400 fights and never been badly hurt let alone down we both know that even a gatekeeper can knock you down and hurt you if they catch you right this shows that he has one hell of a chin.

Who knows, he hasn't been hit hard by a truely hard puncher to really tell.

    So far so good.

I still think Canelo can beat him, Canelo is like a truck. We'll see though, he needs to first get into the ring with Triple G.

his been hit cleanly by stevens and david never even flinched

Canelo has not even taken shots from top mws he has been beating welterweights with big names.

Canelo would himself get beaten by david for example and I would give Jacobs the edge at 160.

watch canelo's performance over hatton and compare it to brooks performance big difference.

there is a reason why canelo wont fight him he knows he will get knocked out

Canelo has only knocked out khan and kirland the guy has shocking power for someone his size

Not really clean, sure by Stevens but Lemieux was on his backfoot the entire night getting peppered with jabs, and then of course he got knocked out.

That was many years ago, against Hatton lol, he's a tank now. Different.

We'll see though, I see Canelo winning.

    Canelo's getting better.

did you see how many shots canelo landed on Kirkland before knocking him out? kirklands chin is worse then khans.
it took ishida one or 2 shots to knock him out and he is feather fisted.

Canelo just has a big name from beating up smaller weltweights with big names

canelo is ducking golovkin and for good reason
