Stevenson has insane 1 punch ko power. He just isn't as accurate or skilled as GGG, but power wise I'd say Stevenson hits a lot harder than GGG. If GGG had Stevenson type power, that would be scary.
Pah! Wilder has knocked out part-time bouncers, janitors and trash collectors. Its quite easy to look like ko artist if you fight this kind of opposition. GGG stopped Komitsky in his 6th or 7th pro fight.Komitsky has an iron and a good track record.Wilder hasnt faced such kind of opponent in his 36 pro fights. The jury is still out for Wilder whereas GGG has proven that he is a very big puncher if not the best at present.
I think it's clear that Wilder, a heavyweight at around 225lb, hits harder than 160lb Golovkin. My post was tongue in cheek, because although I suspect the OP meant p4p, he didn't specify it. That is all.
Exactly. People who don't train boxing don't know how hard even some mediocre big guys hit. If you spar with some naturally big guy over 200 pounds who has trained at least for a year you're going to feel every punch even if he's not particularly good, and even a very skilled 160 pound kind will be pillow fisted compared to him.
Lemieux hits harder, Kovalev probably hits harder, Beterbiev hits harder, and with the heavyweights it's hard to gauge because they can pretty much all bang. So he's up there but definitely not the hardest hitter P4P. He's just more effective at delivering that power.
P4P he's #1 Wilder #2 Non P4P he's probably top 20 Maybe top 10 Sparring partner said Golovkin hit him harder in one minute than Povetkin did in two weeks.
Golovkin is the best puncher P4P but not the biggest puncher P4P. The biggest puncher P4P is Dmitry Kudryashov.
