What a great fight Pavlik-Golovkin would have been, not really sure who would win that but I'd lean towards Pavlik atelast until I see Golovkin in with a higher caliber fighter.

I think Golovkin beats Trinidad and Taylor, I don't think they have the chin to hold up but Taylor is a pretty close fight.

I think Hopkins and Winky both beat Golovkin, they were excellent middleweights and for now I'd pick both over Golovkin in close fights.

Pavlik would beat him down .

The only fighter who GGG would have a chance aganst is probably JT .

JT is very well known for being a 7 rnd fighter and having stamina problems .

Late rounds , JT will be vulnerable to GGGs power and thats when he will have his opportunity to take advantage .

BTW i would not be surprised if GGG get his ass sent to the canvas a few times . Jermain was skillful , people seem to forget that due to his KO losses .

Of the fighters mentioned Bhop beats him i'd be confident of that.
Tito no way he was **** at MW and GGG imo smashes him. Taylor GGG beats his ass when Taylor gasses, Jermaine has success early rounds but then he tires and gets KO'd.
Pavlik proper 50/50 would be an amazing fight. GGG would live with that era no doubt he would make it even better, he would take losses but would definitely win some fights.

Bhop would've eaten GGG alive, stylewise, via a convincing decision win or late rounds stoppage.

Winky would've outworked GGG with his high output punching rate and easily decisioned him.

The 'Tito' Trinidad that beat Ricardo Mayorga in his '04 comeback fight & knockout victory would've gotten up from a mid-rounds flashknock down and beaten GGG the same exact way, late tko or possibly even a strong decision win.

Jermain Taylor in my humble opinion was lucky to get both decision victories over B-hop and even at 160, and based on his own back-to-back losses to Kelly Pavlik, didn't have the good stamina to withstand GGG so he loses on a late come from behind k.o. to GGG.

Pavlik vs GGG: Toss up. Who ever gets hit seriously first gets K.O.'d!

Hopkins, Tito, Winky, Taylor are lucky Golovkin was not fighting when they were, however, Calzaghe made a fool out of Hopkins & Jones, Hopkins beat Tito.............Taylor beat Hopkins, even Abraham knocked out Taylor, so did Pavlik. Golovkin is better than Pavlik any day..............Golovkin would have knocked them all out!!!

If anything, he's not lucky. It's these big money fights that he desperately wants. Why would anyone be "lucky" to be in a half dead division?, it's his job to fight and make serious money, dumbass.

BHOP would beat him, pretty wide UD. I dont see Tito at 160 beating him. He would KO Taylor and UD Winky.

Prime Hopkins Vs GGG is the only interesting and competitive matchup.
    Tito at 160? Nah...
    Winky? Yawn...
    Taylor? LOL...
GGG Vs Pavlik might also be decent for as long as it lasts.

    :rofl

    Hopkins wide ud,possible late knockout
Tito would be competitive, only because tito wasn't real MW.would be 50/50
    Winky by ud
Taylor here i give GGG a chance for late stoppage, still Taylor should be slight favourite
Pavlik would knockout GGG inside 8rounds.

Here you go,and when GGG shows that he can beat elite fighters, probably start to favour GGG more.as it stands now, everybody on this list would run trough GGG resume.
    Really last 5fights rosado,ishida,macklin,stevens,adama.

I don't really bother with these kinda fantasy match-ups cos it's nothing but speculation - it's hard enough comparing current fighters who have shared contemporary opponents. Time and nostelgia also tend to confuse the issue.

The only certainty is not that it's GGG that is lucky, but we the fans who are unlucky these fights will never be made.

Not sure you can put Taylor in that early 2000s era, as he arrived slightly after their era officially had a conclusion.

I'd pick Gennadyi Golovkin to beat Jermain Taylor, and I'd pick him over Tito. Winky and Bernard Hopkins, however.....

At 160 i just can not see him beating Hopkins, no one came close to stopping him and Golovkin is smart fighter but he aint going to out think and outbox Hopkins, only way i can see this fight is 8 4 or 9 3 in favor of Hopkins.

If anything he's UNLUCKY he wasn't around then. If he had good opponents willing to fight him, people wouldn't hate on him. People wouldn't be able to use their resume excuse.

Popkins would 100% whoop him. Trinidad and Pavlik I'd very slightly favor. The other ones could go both ways.
