Can you imagine if GGG was on the B-hop era of late 90s to early 2000s?

He would have to deal with a tall, slick and crafty Undisputed Middleweight Champion of the world. Not a former super lightweight 140b Cotto, or some weak ass title holder Quillin etc...

Can GGG handle an early 30s B-Hop Executioner version that was at his best conditioning wise, tall, slick, crafty inside and outside, smart, calculated, superb footwork, intimidation. I'm talking about a prime and true middleweight B-Hop with Bouie Fisher.

I think it would have been a great fight to watch. It's too bad the MW BHop isn't around today.

hes lucky Trinidad, Benn, Eubank, Toney, Nunn,Mclellan, Jackson list goes on....as I said this is the weakest era in MW history.

saying all that I hope Gennady excels as he is one of the few class acts in boxing who actually entertain with their fists not their mouths (mayweather).

I would have no hesitation paying PPV for Golovkin unlike Mayweather.

A prime Hopkins beats GGG for sure..but Hopkins is an all time great, no shame in not being as good as prime Bhop.

He'd plow thru the prime Hopkins and we'd never know how great Testosterone Replacement Therapy works on 40+ y/o men.:thumbsup

Hopkins is the one guy that could make a GGG fight boring. Sorry but I have no desire to see Hopkins hold, clinch, grab, wrestle, headbutt, and fake low blows.

GGG would have been a Trinidad KO victim well before he would get to meet BHOP.

That wasnt how younger Hopkins fought thou Rico.

When Hopkins was younger he tried to box but apparently Jermain Taylor was too much for his unbelievable skills.

No, we're unlucky that we didn't get to see the most dominant fighter of this decade so far face the top MW from the previous generation.

Damn.. now that woulda been a helluva fight.

Again with the boring excuses. The pascal fights, trinidad fight, Pavlike fights were not boring. Golovkin is the type of fighter that Hop looks good against. Are you afraid that Hop will expose GGG? Forget prime Hop, this current Hop will expose Golovkin.
