Tens of millions of dollars at stake here and a win that will keep his future purses high. And I don't think Golovkin is naive. He beat Canelo clearly the first time and already took ALL of Canelo's best roided bombs and didn't seem fazed. If he had taken a savage beating, it would be a different story.

He knows what’s going on but he’s here as a pro in the US for money. He’s from a very poor country where people have little opportunity. Money really is power where he comes from....and a Canelo fight is about as much money as any boxer can make in boxing right now outside the HW Championship.

What he should do and probably will do I imagine for him is an easy choice.

 

But, after this "Mexican meat" incident, Clenelo will be monitored more closely, so maybe it's actually a good idea to fight him now? Because the chances are quite high that Clenelo will be PEDs-free for the May 5 rematch.

If Canelo somehow couldn't get hold of the juice, Golovkin would buy it and bring it himself on a silver plate.

GGG should use this set of circumstances to finally break the circle and corruptive influence.

Canelo wont be any faster or stronger or better for the rematch. Only thing i would say is GGG needs to make sure it doesnt go the distance or he is losing his belts. Oscar wanted the draw, he wanted a rematch for the extra money but this time if it goes 12 his judges know what to do.
