You mean skills, don't you. If GGG had Mayweather skills he would have killed Canelo.

Styles make fights, not to mention weight drainage also makes fights. But either way, Mayweather is of course a much better fighter than GGG. GGG is good, really good but Mayweather is at another level.

No one said he was poor, he's a good/great fighter, but he did NOT win more than 1 round vs Mayweather. That much is clear. You can be good but Mayweather embarrassed him that night. Everyone knows it. Ffs go rewatch it again and score it without bias and you'll see what I mean.

JMM won 0 rounds vs Mayweather. Doesn't mean he's not great okay. Pacquiao won 2.

if canelo was so drained like some says than why did he throw more punches than in all his other fights since then...

That's your opinion, which you are entitled to, however the judges saw it differently, including a judge (Moretti) that if I recall you've praised as consistently getting it right that gave Canelo 4 rounds. BTW do you remember which round you gave to Canelo?

There were several rounds that "could have gone either way" in my estimation, if you give all those close rounds to Floyd, then perhaps you can arrive at 11-1. In my estimation, Canelo won several of the close rounds on ring generalship, specifically feints, and the fact that he landed hooks, while Floyd only landed jabs.

I agree that I didn't think JMM won a single round vs Floyd, but he was a much smaller guy, so that kind of explains that. I thought Canelo clearly gave Floyd a tougher fight than Pac did. Besides, Pac - May was boring, Canelo - May was fascinating.

Just because you give someone a tougher fight doesn't mean you won more rounds than the person who didn't. It's a 12 round scoring system.

I do praise Moretti, I think he does get a lot of fights right, and he's been doing that since the 80's, his card in the Leonard/Hagler fight was perfect from what I remember.

I think it might have been round 4 that I gave Alvarez, I think he landed some good ones in that round but def not any other round from how I scored it.

I mean, you can score how you want, that's your business, but after rewatching it multiple times, I just couldn't give him more than 1 round. How? He was beaten to the punch nearly the entire night and landed nearly nothing of note, Mayweather was outboxing him in almost every round. Canelo literally looked lost in there.

    How'd you score GGG/Nelo?

There were times that Canelo looked lost vs Floyd. Round 7 and Round 11 come to mind, which I thought were Floyd’s best rounds. Round 4 was a good round to Canelo, I agree with you there, I scored that for Canelo also.

I also gave Canelo rounds 2 and 3, but I admit those were very close and could also go either way. (Floyd landed some flush jabs in those rounds, I just preferred the ring generalship, the feints and the hooks from Canelo)

I mean I don’t see why we can’t disagree on some of these rounds, but agree that some of these rounds were hard to score and close enough to go either way. Round 5 was also close, if I recall I scored that even, but I would expect that to go to Floyd as well.

BTW I thought Round 10 was clearly Canelo’s most dominant round of the fight, I can’t see how you can give that Round to Floyd. Midway through he round, Canelo was fighting very effectively off the ropes and Floyd couldn’t land on Canelo, Floyd moved back to center ring, and Canelo managed to trap Floyd on the ropes and unleash a barrage of punches in the final minute of that round.

Round 12 was another round that I thought Canelo did well in. Floyd landed next to nothing in the 12th while Canelo landed a hard jab and a short straight right coming out of the clinch. Rounds 2, 3, 4, 10 and 12 are all rounds that could legitimately go to Canelo.

I had Canelo winning last night by several rounds, but I wasn’t surprised by the cards given that Canelo was backing up for a good portion of the fight. Many judges and media like aggressors so the draw is understandable. In terms of quality clean effective punching, it seemed pretty clear to me that Canelo landed the better flashier, more earth shattering punches.

Canelo has fought 1 time at 160lbs. Not his natural weight.

His in ring fight night weight was 165 against Floyd, what is this drain that fans keep flapping about to discredit an awesome display of boxing. He asked him to lose 2 extra pounds for weigh in. He was gonna drain Golovkin and many of you were cool with that. I wish he would come back right now and make GGG drain to 154 just for my amusement at watching him get slapped up in front of his alt right fans for 36 minutes.
My dick would be hard as stone watching snowflake tears fall.
