Wrong! GGG fought PBF's leftovers. Also GGG is the bigger man and a career long MW and Canelo started at WW. PBF started at 130 and was the smaller man and damn near shut Canelo out. GGG got a draw and went life and death with Canelo. PBF's win >>>>>>>>>>>GGG's draw period
You're right he's no Mayweather. Doesn't change the fact that GGG won that fight pretty handily. The Jacobs fight was a lot closer and much more of an argument can be made for Jacobs to have beaten GGG than Canelo.
I am going to check the punches connected by Jacobs as compared to Nelo in order to make a fair comparison instead of going by general impressions which might be warped by wishful thinking.
That's not true I was here back then and plenty people gave him a chance not only that plenty of people here picked him to beat PBF.
Jacobs actually had meaningful offence in his fight vs GGG, where as Canelo was basically in survival mode from rounds 4 onwards with the occasional cameo whilst eating punches for 2mins 30secs of every round. He never looked like he was winning, where as Jacobs had real success.
PBF started at 130 and is a GOD when compared to GGG. This is the same GGG who ran like a scalded dog when Ward mentioned his name.
I didn't see many giving Nelo a chance outside of avid Floyd haters but deep inside they knew their guy didn't have it in him to beat Mayweather. They were hoping
