Claiming he didn't want it after all that happened is nonsense. He more than likely wanted to win that fight more than any other in his professional career. These excuses are becoming tragic.

Only 5 months ago he did to Vanes exactly what he did to Brook , the issue with Golovkin is he would never bumrush elite talent like Canelo the way he did with the likes of MaCkLIN , Murray etc.
Canelo had , and would always have the ability to hit him with hard body / head shots before stepping out of harms way.
If Golovkin is gunshy its because he didn't want Canelo taking the fight out of him through body shots. Thats not lack of hunger , thats assessing danger and acting appropriately. But to beat Canelo he had to take risks and bite down on his gum-shield to take shots to land harder shots.
He didn't go Vanes on him cos a bully will always back down against guys who can stand up to them.
He was well able to throw right hands , hooks and body shots at Canelo but chose not to out of worry what would counter him.

why not be interested when you are for the first time facing someone who can beat you?

thw whole point of world boxing is facing people who are a challenge!

You do discredit to 3G, labelling him a coward only interested in weaklings, if you say this - do not say this again!

I said the same thing in different threads. My point is i feel like a younger ggg WOULD have walked through fire to get a win instead of worrying about counters

You don't know that since younger GGG came up against soup cans.

34 isn't old , he was that age when he didn't walk through fire against Jacobs and almost lost as a result.

Well **** it then go get Holyfield and Bowe out of retirement right now. And settle their legacy once and for all.

Like I said **** it, have them fight now.

That is the same thing? Bowe and Holyfield at past 50 compared to guys who were fighting fine Duran at 29 years old or GGG at 35 who just knocked out that Vanes Mitro. See how ridiculous the excuse thing goes?

Well context matters which you want to conveniently ignore with your agenda.

That is not factual. GGG fights well until he loses and then he gets excuses. It is the Duran syndrome. Duran is the greatest ever for beating Ray and when he loses a few months later he has an excuse. I don't like excuses. GGG was fighting well at 36. The age thing came up when he started to fight better guys.

Again you ignore context. Why not have Hopkins and Roy Jones settle the score in a trilogy now? They're 1-1?

You are ignoring things which are not relative. Don't always look for excuses.
