    ggg haters seem to know something marvin hagler, mike tyson and julian jackson and many other champions that think GGG is the real deal don't know. Interesting.

    I think I'll side with them over some anonymous internet users that have never stepped foot inside a boxing gym.

    I'd love to have seen what Pavlik could've become if he'd had the discipline of Golovkin and hooked up with a world-caliber trainer.

    One. Pavlik beat ONE better opponent (twice).

    ..and those are different things. My reply there was to someone arguing that Pavlik beat more "dangerous" guys as though having more knockouts in one's record is the sole indicator of how risky an opponent they are...which as you and I both know is bunkum.

    Pavlik faced virtually no stylistic bogeymen until Hopkins. Golovkin hasn't beaten any elites (as there are none to face in his division) but he certainly has thwarted a far more diverse group of styles than Pavlik did up to and including his Taylor wins.
