    Note to Gennady Golovkin:

Sign to fight Roy Jones. Lose by 13 points over 12 rounds. Get cut in the process.

And a poster named drenlou will consider that a major accomplishment ... because you were "tested."

I wasn't talking about the Hopkins fight, i was talking about the Martinez fight. He got whitewashed against Hopkins, but was cut up and bleeding out his eye against Martinez and still fought back and made it 12. We Were obviously on different pages.

No a poster named drenlou will not think it was a major accomplishment. I thought we were talking about the Martinez fight.

Shutup.. Pavlik lost by a few points, that's not beaten to a pulp. And you bring up another good point. When has GGG faced adversity in the ring, like fighting through a cut and tasting his own blood? Never.

Again, when was Kelly Pavlik a bloody mess and he came back to win?

Pavlik was favored to beat Hopkins and Martinez and was humiliated by both. He didn't overcome adversity -- THEY DID. He was supposed to beat them up, but they cleaned his clock.

You keep citing Kelly Pavlik losses (in fights he was supposed to win easily) -- praising them as tests -- and insisting Pavlik was better because he got his *ss kicked and Golovkin hasn't.

You're not making any sense at all.

As I said, Kelly Pavlik was a top middleweight for about two years.

But don't make him out to be more than he was because you don't like Golovkin.

Considering they were born only days apart, Golovkin was a far better amateur and he's been a far better pro then Kelly Pavlik ever was. EVER.

Trying to hype instances where Pavlik was humiliated by guys he was supposed to beat isn't getting you anywhere.:good:hi:

If Golovkin was supposed to beat someone, and he lost by 13 points, or he got shredded with cuts and outpointed, you wouldn't be claiming those as great moments in his career. You'd be mocking him for his huge failures.

    That's obvious.

Pavlik didn't overcome adversity in the Taylor fight? When will GGG ever face adversity? When will he step up his competition? And his losses came against Great fighters, fighters Pavlik was willing to mix it up with. Bhop was a light heavy and pavlik went and fought him at 170! None of that 164 bs. Is GGG willing to mix it up with Light heavy Ward? Hell no...Like I sai Pavlik took the test, while GGG is still studying for it!

Pavlik's win over Taylor is better than GGG's whole career. Pavlik took chances he dared to be great.

Not at all! Especially if he was being compared to a fighter getting all this hype without earning it! Pavlik earned his stripes, GGG hasn't earned any IMO.

Besides that, Pavlik beat Taylor. Twice.

    Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin beaten?
