Does anyone here think either of these two guys have problems with "runners"? Their opponents literally run from these guys. Am I right? I just can't see either of them making excuses. Kovalev basically 12-0 B-Hop for his "running". Why are Pac fans crying about "running" when Kovalev shutout an ATG in B-Hop? GGG makes them "good boys". SOME Pac fans are actually crying to change the rules.
Neither of them are ''Asian midgets'' :deal (granted Golovkin is Asian though) Satan himself would get on his bike if he saw one of them standing in the opposite corner. :deal
:rofl Being a midget is not an excuse. Pac was also supposed to have some of the best footwork and speed in the game (darting in and out). Didn't he also knock down Algieri (a runner) six times? B-hop is worse than Floyd in the "running" department. Kovalev shut him out.
Kovalev killed a man in the ring. :deal I can't pass comment on Floyd-Pac yet because I haven't seen it. I hear he was carrying a terrible shoulder injury going into the bout though.
I'm just looking at Floyd's opponents who inevitably bring up the "running" excuse. Should we ship them to Eastern Europe to train? Come to think of it, Loma wouldn't have problems with runners either and he's smaller than Pac. BTW, the injury was reaggravated in the fight. His doctors OKd him to fight.
I think if GGG fought B-Hop it would be the same. The reason I say that is I believe GGG has better fundamentals than Kovalev.
Like I said, I haven't seen the fight but I have seen quite a few of Floyd's other fights before and he does have a tendency to allow his pathological fear of pain to captain his ship too often. Personally I prefer it when fighters display Alpha traits and characteristics and conduct themselves in accordance with the Warrior Code in combat situations like I myself do when I'm cracking skulls on the cobbles and in bars.
Pacquiao can't apply effective agression, it's all ineffective, he just plodded forward like a journeymen, no gameplan nothing. With GGG it's all meticulous, calculated - every single step, he moves his opponent where he wants to, applying steady pressure (without abandoning his defense) he gets his opponent where he wants and unleashes combos. And even when Pacquiao did get Mayweather where he wanted, he made it SO easy to escape for him it was laughable.
