    Seems unlikely the IBF will force the Derevyanchenko fight.

    Maybe we can see a IBF interim fight between Derevyanchenko and Andrade.

    What happened to the IBF enforcing their annual mandatories. Its been two years since GGG last fought an IBF mando against Wade.
    The IBF should have used this opportunity to force the mando against SD

    He should have been allowed to fight last december. Effin GBP squashed that. And now here we are....

    They're meeting tomorrow to decide whether to enforce Derevyanchenko. I suspect it will be a no though.

    Scrap cinco de mayo and fight BJS in june instead. Golovkin should stop saying it's his dream to hold all the belt if he fights anyone else next. If he fights Canelo in september, he won't fight for that belt in 2018, or possibly ever.

    2017 could've been Jacobs/BJS/Canelo but GB didn't want him to fight in the summer. Now GGG has been on the shelves for several months and it was all a waste because he lost his big money fight. Don't let an opportunity to fight BJS slip by again...

    I agree completely.

    The problem is that a) Golovkin is set on fighting on Cinco de Mayo, and b) Saunders might well beat Golovkin and ruin the Canelo rematch.

    BTW there are discussions on a September fight with Saunders - presumably it happens then if Canelo cops a year suspension.

    He was strong armed in this one. He could have fought someone else in december, then GBP would have pulled the rematch. So technically, yes, he could have. But that's neither here nor there.

    If GGG was like "im fighting in dec you diva, see you in may". Im sure canelo would still fight him in may.

    Why? He hasn't fought his IBF mandatory in over 2 years. He is supposed to defend every 12 months?

    OR....OR.....keep his schedule fight which he's been training for, and see if BJS will be ready in August. 3G has sat on the shelf for too long to play this silly game of "will he, or won't he, be ready/available".

    Honest? This is the guy who already dumped his titles in the bin once, and CURRENTLY thinks he won the first fight. Yeah, I think GBP would dump 3G if they could. Especially if they had secured a fight that, 'fit the bill', meaning a fight "just good enough" to squash most criticisms and be acceptable in lieu of a rematch.
