your response has nothing to do with what I said.
    So let me ask again
If GGG fought in Dec, why would GBP not do the fight in May? They stand to lose money to you know. The first did 130 million in revenue, its canelos highest payday outside of the mayweather fight.

It was, as I was referring to the 'honestly' portion. I think GBO would have said no ultimately.

You have to ask GBP. They straight up said if he fought in December, rematch is off the shelf. It was clearly a ploy to keep 3G out of the ring IMO.

Canelo can still make huge paydays, and still has plenty of time. That he has on his side.

If any of the other fighters claiming to be down for this date are an option, please don't make it O'Sullivan. It is a waste of a fight and Golovkin likely doesn't have many of those left.

Oscar was very clear on the fact GGG could not fight Anyone prior to the rematch

Derevyanchenko needs to be next, and why not?

As a champ you have to deal with mandatories easy or tough.

Derevyanchenko is pretty much identical in size to Canelo and he's orthodox. You couldn't find another top fighter closer in physique to Canelo.

Derevyanchenko happens to be ready to go.

Sign the damn contract, any boxing fan would rather see this than the Spike fight.

Very disappointing if true. Derevyanchenko would be a great replacement.

**** fight, but what can we expect. Spike will get a thorough beating at the hands of GGG.

The only questions are does Spike get KTFO? Beaten into submission or mercy stoppage?

I'm disappointed that GGG is avoiding his IBF mandatory Derevyanchenko.
