    If Cotto fights Floyd for the lineal mw title and lose it then the WBC org would allow Floyd to have a few optional title defenses. We all know WBC loves Floyd very much.:yep

    not just optional defences. Expect fights at 147 for the WW, LMW and MW titles as a farce like that happens

    This is the reason why the WBC will not strip Cotto nor will they enforce Golovkin's mandatory. Not as long as the possibility exists for a Cotto Mayweather showdown for the middleweight title.
