his team is looking at semi-retired kessler.....

but other than ward, who doesn't seem an option because of his legal issues....

    the landscapes pretty scarce....

because Groves, Froch and Degale will probably participate in a round-robin...

if Froch loses vs. Groves, I'm convinced he'll call it a career... and that will lead to Groves vs Degale 2....

what credible opponents are there for GGG? just Kovalev at light heavy.... LOL, the HBO side of things is looking like a wasteland for the few good fighters they have.

Kessler would be his biggest fight to date and a move up in weight so it would be his biggest test to date. I'd watch but its not ppv

hasn't even had a career, is 34 years old and doesn't have an option? GGG is wasting his prime which might already have passed, while his team engages in bean counting instead of fighting.

fight anyone at 168 there are plenty of options there. Quit whining and stop waiting for super-welters to cherry pick.

    He won't go near ward

    Don't blame him

Froch bangs much harder than him and was manhandled by ward

GGG needs to stay at 160 and fight nobody like he has done so far

160 - Geale, Korobov or Sturm

168 - Froch, Groves, DeGale, Ward, Kessler, Abraham or Steiglitz

175 - Kovalev, Bute, Cloud, Dawson or Braehmer

    So quite a few options.

It's a shame that a fighters prime is wasted because other fighters are too cowardly too step up to the plate and accept a worthy challenge when it presents itself.

What's the point of being a prize fighter anyway?

I'm sure fighting Golovkin whom is a world champion will rake in more cash than fighting some of the more obscure names at the middleweight division.

Let me ask you people a question, "Is everyone ducking Golovkin now and that's why he can't have a big fight?"

175lbs? Golovkin would be a small 168lber, 175lbs is out of the question.

Korobov's career is so slow that he may never fight a Golovkin, Korobov is a highly skilled fighter and just presents high risk, low reward.

Froch has openly admitted that there's no way he's going to get in the ring with Golovkin and that Golovkin hits like a mule. It's a recent interview with George Groves in it.

DeGale can happen. Groves probably won't take it anytime soon.

Really for the next 2 years, Golovkin should just focus on the 160lb division.

Geale is a legit opponent @ 160. Then @ 168 is Kessler - yeah he's a semi-retired-past of his prime fighter but he would be GGG's biggest fight from his career.
