Lol, Chavez isn't white, what about his recent opponents (Adama and Stevens). He's not been avoiding Quillin ( I'm not gonna say Quillin is avoiding him either). Why did you bring up Hopkins? He's a 175 pounder. Jacobs is irrelevant. Ward, you have a point, you can think he's ducking if you wish, I don't particularly care but IMO he's not gonna just move up and fight one of the best fighters p4p straight away, give him time, if he fights at 168 for a couple of fights without mentioning Ward then you can say say he's definitely ducking, it's premature now to call it a duck.

Golovkin is in a difficult situation. Ward would fight him , but if GGG gets beaten his stocks would drop dramatically, so patience is the key. Its a matter of time till GGG will grab that WBC MW title and become the crowned MW king. Then he will have more bargaining power.

 

It's a shame Chavez ducked him. I'd like to see him in with Kessler at 68.

 

Kessler, even a past his prime one, is still a dangerous fight for anyone. Wouldn't be surprised if this one went the distance and candidate for FOTY. Also, would be interesting to see GGG actually fighting at 168 and see if he really does carry his power over. Maybe GGG should fight at 168, make himself relevant there, while still be able to hold on to his 160 belt. Stay busy at those 2 weights cuz 160 pretty obvious right now no one is very interested. He needs to stay busy.

 

GGG won't be able to get the title if Martinez retires after his next couple of fights. Quillin, who is #2 in the rankings according to TBRB, is a Showtime fighter. Sturm won't fight him. If the fight hasn't already happened by that time, maybe he and Geale could have a unification fight.

Golovkin won nearly every round vs Rosado. Peter Quillin for example had more problems with Rosado. I wouldn't call Proska, Macklin and Stevens nobodys. But again who should Golovkin fight @160 to prove himself ?
