Hopkins opposition at 160 was horrendous.

He needs a money fight to go up in weight. There is none at the moment. Perhaps after the WBSS and the winner but I highly doubt that. He isn´t as big as Hopkins was. The size difference was huge against Jacobs who has similar body build as Hopkins.

Golovkin is not going to out grow 160 like these big guys who dehydrated over 15-25 bounds (Hopkins, Pavlik, Jacobs etc.). Remember Hopkins had to move up because he couldn´t fight effectively at 160 anymore - in other words, he had to move up to stay competitive and relevant.

Still doesn't diminish the fact that, G needs to fight better opposition! Like I mentioned, Jacobs was a good start and Canelo as well. You notice, since his step up in opposition the KO streak has ended! It's easy to looking great against B/C level opponents, especially when it's a fighter as good as G. It was like shooting fish in a barrel for him. Too easy!

Middleweight has a history of great fighters who had long campaigns at the weight.
Yet punk ass fans ***** and moan.
Took those fighters a lot of sacrifices to get to where they are, so naturally they held on.

Hopkins regularly weighed 168 on fight night. I think the most he weighed was 170.
Not arguing about his effectiveness at 160, but while there, he was not a big man. Just tall for the weight.

Just answer both and see how both get a response then you can tell

Like this GGG is a not good enough and he Knows it. Not even close to Ward and doesn't have the Basketballs and skill to move up to fight at light heavyweight.

GGG could fight till hes 60, hes way better then B.Hop. But he doesn't need to move up any time at all. Just fight till he is 60 and no one could touch that record. Not necessary to move up, Canelo is so great. That's his Joe Frazer and GGG is Ali , we get to see 2 more fights from the greatest two middle weights in history.

Now lets wait for the response Hmmmmm. OK----OK

They are trying to make GGG into Money Mayweather, a fighter that when he steps up in competition and fights the best he makes it look easy . But GGG doesn't have the Ring IQ of Mayweather or skill natural ability that gift .

But GGG came into a division when the talent pool is very weak so some fans of boxing that just don't think hes that good. We say he needs to move up to test his ability's and fight Ward or Kovalev and other fighters so we can see what he is made of. If he and his team chose not to then, we tell him and his team and his fans don't tell us he could beat fighter A and fighter B at his weight class of earlier times in history and light heavyweight champions. Just say he is a good middle weight champion but we will never know how good he was or could of been. Cause the only test he was willing to take was fighting 2 blown up welterweight fighters and a average Jacobs who really has no chin.

That's all there is to it, We don't hate the man we just don't think hes that good. But his fans seem to think we hate him or have an agenda or something we don't.

Now if he moved up and cleaned everyone out of 2 more weight classes or made it tough fights or beats, Ward and Kovalev and people still complain. Then that's just hating and they have serious issues with him.

It was awful. But certain pukes don’t like to mention that do they? :)

Kinda like how they ALWAYS claimed both Klitschko’s reigns were do to “B.. Bu But the HW division is at its WEAKEST Doe!” forgetting the fact that two of their favorite HW’s they consider top 5 all time fought in **** POOR eras. One was the creation of “The Bum Of The Month” club.

And the other made title defenses against guys like ALFREDO EVANGELISTA. Lol

I agree! I think he is very talented, but the time to move has passed him by. 35 in a tad too late to make major career moves! I personally think he would have done well at 168.

at this stage our man in Kazak needs to stay at MW if he is to get to double figures defences. Time is running out, I am not sure he will have the option of longevity hopkins flaunted.

oh so you count unrecognised belt defences, i see.

no the boxing world doesnt recognise ibo.

However I have faith that 3G can breach double figures soon and keep going, you should support him too, not shyte on him like that.
