No more games its already April. GGG latest comments were that he will fight at 160 while Canelo can weigh 155 if he likes. This guy doesnt get it does he. This isnt the fuccing amateurs this is the pro ranks PRIZE fighting. A side, the side that brings the MONEY the buys and the fans dictates the terms. GGG is having a hard time accepting his b side status with Canelo yellow.

The worst thing that can happen to GGG is having the WBC belt stripped from Canelo. Then he gets a third belt. Congrats. To defend against? Heiland or Johnson? Quivering quillin or showtime hiding Jacobs? Saunders can hold the WBO hostage for 4 million dollars lol.

GGG needs to offer yellow canelo 157 to get the fight made. Canelo cant turn 157 down theres no way that would make him look terrible. If GGG offers 157 he vindicates himself. 155 is absurd just 1 pound over jmw. 157 is in the middle, a medium ground.

If GGG doesnt make this fight happen due to his insistence at 160, it may very well be possible that his best wins will remain Geale, Murray and Lemiuex. What a shame.

BULL FECES !!! What should happen is Canelo should prove to his Mexican FORMER supporters he is not the chicken they've named him & fight Golovkin at the Middleweight limit of 160 to unify the titles. After all that is what the WBC rules state isn't it ??? Be a MAN!! Canelo not a CHICKEN!!!!:good

Obviously you are "correct" in your statement and I agree with you. BUT. The boxing world dont work like this. If Canelo had the huevos he would have made the fight at 160. Obviously he wants every advantage he can get and he will use them if possible.

The big difference between the two fighters is TIMEEEE. GGG doesnt have time to get stalled any longer. Canelo is 25 man, he will be in the sport for another 7 years at least. GGG has maybe 2 solid years and then father time starts taking away his reflexes. Which suks but this is the reality. GGG needs to accept the fact that he doesnt have much time left in the sport. His fans (me included) want to see him in with a pound for pound fighter before he retires.

All Golovkin needs to beat all the 160 pound middleweights out there is for them to MAN UP & fight him. No fighter can beat any other fighter that refuses to fight him
Just a thought... When Jones jr beat Ruiz for the HW title what if he'd said " I'm not really a heavyweight I will only defend my title at 180 pound limit" Would he get away with it like Canelo has?????????????:think

Canelo is getting plenty of heat for his antics. However, he has a solid mexican fan base that will continue supporting him despite his bs antics.

There is no competition at 160 for GGG. Hes already taken most of the guys out. GGG should move up to 168 to chase bigger fights and greatness, because I believe he has the skills to do it.

Look at Avtandil Khurtside, that 5ft 4 dude that sparked out undefeated 19-0 Antoine Douglas. Douglas had a 6 inch height advanage and 8 inch reach advantage. Khurtsize beat him badly. Why cant GGG move up to 168 and take on fighters 6 foot or 6 ft 1 and beat them silly.

GGG vs Heiland..... i may not even watch it live. Whats the poin
    GGG vs Johnson. Same thing.
I will be going to GGG vs Wade, but this is the last live event ill go to of GGG's unless its with a dangerous opponent.

Ggg acts like if he wins the belt at a cw it's not valid

Either that or he's legit afraid he'll lose at 155

Ggg fans just need to stop acting like hes cut from a different cloth...and he prob wouldn't receive any hate.....hes just like any other fighter .....he might be better than most....but his Career is managed no different than any other

If Golovkin can make 157 without losing anything then I agree that maybe he should make that offer. But if he's going to affect his comat skills by doing so, then 160 all the way. I'd really like to see this fight too.

Will you be happy if Canelo gets stripped of the title, with Golovkin defending it against Heiland and Johnson?

If it was floyd tho ggg would have no problem making 154......that's what we've heard anyway

I guess ggg must be legit worried canelo might spark him....makes no sense u can make 154 for floyd but can't make 155 for a guy floyd beat easily

He probably is apprehensive, and quite rightly too. Floyd would be around 154 on fight night and Floyd is a fighter who doesn't beat you up. He out classes you. Canelo will weigh 170+ and he can hurt you. Plus, GGG would get more money fighting Floyd than he would against Canelo.

Fighting Floyd at 154 is an educated risk. Fighting Canelo at 155 isn't worth the risk. Yes, GGG won't get the big pay day, but he can unify the belts and the fans will know it was Canelo being a coward that stopped the fight from happening. GGG would probably be best served moving up to 168 then.

Remember, Bowe ducking Lewis didn't harm Lewis' legacy.

Most of them. Gloves, Ring size, date, venue, purse. Canelo is dictating all of those. Forcing a mandatory to fight at a catchweight? Canelo can't dictate that.
