He has a point. GGG didn't attack lemieux Jacobs and Canelo like he did Brook and the others, no body shots, not alot of viciousness and no real attempts to cut off the ring(like we know he can) and corner the enemy.
Alot of poking jabs and staring though.
He is really playing it safe and cutting it close.
He literally walked right through Kell Brook who was trying to keep him off with his best shots, now that was impressive and brutal.
The Canelo and Jacobs performances were very safety first

That's because Golovkin is really a boxer first and a slugger second. I've watched the majority of his fights and he's always been a boxer first. Sanchez changed his style to be more aggressive. Personally I like him as a boxer, but his reputation as a destroyer is a bit of a problem because when he doesn't go out and throw haymakers then people reckon the opponent has him spooked. No. He's just doing what comes naturally.

Most likely because Canelo and Jacobs both entered the ring significantly bigger post weigh in.

Dudes weighed in as middleweights and showed up as cruiserweights.

No more messing around is what that means.

He's saving the the energy he would use to try to speak in broken English for the punishment he's going deliver to the ginger bread boy.

He's lost respect for the media after they bought into the tainted meat bs story and fake hair sample test farce.

He's probably telling them they're all a bunch of ****s in kazakhstan

I'd agree with this but am wondering what your point is? They're not going to have a spelling bee are they?

And I've long thought Golovkin should stop trying to do interviews in English. His grasp of the language doesn't seem up to it. Sure he better than the 'feel' man Usyk but he clearly struggles to say what he wants to say. That's why there's such a difference in tone to what he says in Russian or Kazkh and what he says in English.

I think he is an intelligent guy but he doesn’t have time and energy to learn English, but it would be good for his marketing. But it doesn’t matter anymore as he doesn’t have to much time in boxing.
In this post fight interview his English is quite good, probably during fight week he heard a lot of English question and answer so he learned.
I’m 100% sure he is going to give the post fight interview again in English, hopefully with all his belts.
    Can’t imagine this man losing

He no longer has to pretend to try and speak English. After he mows down Clenelo and punches wholes straight through him.....that KO will be replied on ESPN for a week. Household name for the last few years of his career.

I would like to think that, but Shadow's post history suggests he's 70% troll with little grasp on history.

Yeah but Canelo has done that for years.
Watch round 8 of the Cotto fight.
Tiny old Cotto attacked Canelo more fiercely in that round than GGG did at any point. And Canelos counters didn't knock Cotto out so it's not like Canelos punch is that worry some, especially to someone with a good chin and good size like GGG.

GGG just never was what he was marketed to be.
He is a boxer who can punch.
    Not a pressure fighter

Clenelo doesn't even try to speak english and people are giving GGG grief because he used his translators for a few interviews.

GGG will let his gloved fists do the talking and will get his message across unequivocally, no language problem will be encountered, as long as the ref can count to ten or the judges can add up their score cards correctly.

Canelo didn't try to speak english like GGG did. That's why plenty of fighters talk in their native language and have a translator. I'm trying to understand what prompted GGG to start speaking with a translator as opposed to conducting interviews in english. Was it a specific interview. There has to be something that caused him to stop speaking in English. You've long thought Golovkin should stop trying to speak English and I tend to agree, that's what Canelo has been doing all along.
