Did you watch the video I posted of Loeffler saying Lara can get in the ring too, if they can work things out? I'm not going by an article that's 13 months old.

This article is from last year.
http://www.boxingnews24.com/2014/02/golovkins-promoter-not-interested-in-lara-bout/

Golovkin has had more meaningful fights lined up since the time of this article.

Golovkin struck a deal with Geale the #2 MW for a Madison Square Garden fight, a top MW in a big drawing match takes priority over Lara.

He also got a fight with Rubio that has seen him named as Cotto's mandatory, which also is more important than Lara.

Lara in this time has lost to Alaverz.

His fans don't get it. His promoters do and know His strengths and limitations. They say Golovkin beats "anyone" from 154 to 168 but when people in those respective divisions call him out, they're arent on his radar?

That sounds like a marketing ploy, seeing as he has been proclaimed the top of 3 divisions but doesn't venture out to prove it.

Yeah, a lot has happened since than and Golovkin hasn't been in shortage of opponents. He finally got two top MWs in the ring in Geale and Murray to further cement his claim as the best MW, and earned mandatory status against Cotto by knocking out Rubio.

It truly amazes me that the mods on here jump on people because of the language they use but seem more than happy for this forum to be a hang out for fvcking idiots.

So one big mouthed fighter, calls out another and all the worlds s.h.i.t and slime believe this amounts to a contract offer.

Fvcking morons.

it's a fight and guys get hit...just like golovking took numberous clean shots from ouma and murray. angulo was also destroyed in the fight and never the same afterward....if ggg thinks he can beat lara, all they have to do is accept the offer and start negotiations. it would be a huge fight...make a lotta money for ggg and his people.

 Lara? Lara was outboxed by Saul "Feet of Stone" Alvarez. He was dropped by Angulo. This is your big challenge for GGG at 160?

and if golovkin won, you'd just say he was beating up on smaller guys.

If you think so thats fine. Thats just an opinion until and unless the fights happen.

However regurgitating the same troll material that went around, was thoroughly discussed and debunked over a year ago is asinine.

As of this point, there is no offer, for the nth time. They haven't produced anything other than verbiage. If there is anything stopping this, it's more HBO than anything else. And it would be a huge fight for hardcore fans yes, casuals no. They both would make good money, not staggering amounts. But as I referenced earlier, how is this fight going to happen when Lara just stated his intentions are staying at 154? You don't call someone out and have them come to where you are, that's not how it works.

Why are you acting like this just happened, it was well over a year ago.

Golovkin's team turned down Super Welter Lara to fight Geale, a top MW in a Garden fight on HBO that turned out to be a huge hit.

Some people were calling for Lara at the time, because GGG was having trouble getting Geale, Murray, and Cotto to fight him. But that changed, he got Geale and Murray, and secured a mandatory against Cotto.

Lara lost to Alvarez and just now opened his mouth again from what I'm following. If so, we'll see what happens this year. But I expect unification, Froch, and a Cotto fight to be a priority for Golovkin.

how intersted would people be in lara v ggg?

honest question, i'd watch it but not a fight i'd be excited for or pay a penny to watch, since lara was so defensive v canelo what could he hope to achieve here?

if i was ggg's management and i had confidence in him, i would be happy lara stepped up...i would say "sure, lets' fight...let's talk to showtime and hbo and see if we can put together a ppv deal"...after all, fmj and pac overcame their differences...this fight is potentially huge.
