So, basically yes you are admitting that to this point there is no way GGG could have actually been swerving Ward?

If Winter rolls around, and GGG is still unable to land a notable fight then I will be first in line saying fight Ward. Actually its the fight I most want to see period, its just silly how some people manage to manufacture a "duck" against all logic or reality.

Ward wanted 2 million to fight Rodriguez and about that to fight Chad Dawson. Then he complained of slave wages and spent the last two years suing his promoter trying to get out of his contract. He probably wants at least ten million for Golovkin and he just isn't worth that. Golovkin might make 2 million a fight now, but he's one of the biggest draws. Ward has standing in the rankings but he's still not a draw. He could price himself out of a fight with Golovkin if he gets greedy, which let's face it he is. By comparison a guy like Monroe will take the fight for a couple of hundred grand.

It's the same reason Leo Santa Cruz doesn't fight Rigondeaux. Santa Cruz priced himself out wanting, what was it two or three million dollars? Rigondeaux has never even fought for a million dollar purse. He doesn't have that kind of money to give to Santa Cruz.

I'm just mugging him off. Once GGG has a fight at 168 and Ward does as well again then we can start talking about GGG ducking Ward. Gotta fight fire with fire though :good

Agree with your post, however he also seems to unfairly have dodged the criticism that some other big name or hyped fighters get. It's bs. If he was 26, then cool, but dude is close to peaking so no excuses. OP makes some valid points.

That is because you are an idiot. Ward will also not fight Golovkin for money available at this time. One thing is to fight Monroes and Smiths for peanuts, but fighting dangerous opponents like each other requires significantly higher purses. Only an idiot can't understand that.

Cuz he'll have proved he can be a top fighter at 168lb too. Then I'm sure Ward will become a big draw for him.

Golovkin is challenging froch right in the middle of his own back yard, something ward wont even do. As in, that was literally what killed their rematch from taking place, because ward didnt want to get robbed. G is doing it anyways. Is G getting credit for that? No... hes getting called out for not fighting a guy whos next fight is at 172. This forum is infested with spastics
