Wasn't that fighter meeting in 2013? Ward was probably about to go in the deep end with Goosen. That's the only real problem I have with Ward. I was privy on a few of the details(its public record if you look) and it just didn't make sense. Poor poor judgement and advice. Not quite the way to do things especially at that high point in his career. I can see why other promoters wouldn't touch him at the time. Thank God for Roc Nation, Andre!

"Problem" as in credibility. Not boxing skills!

Seems GGG's team wants their cake and to eat it to. They want to be crowned #1 p4p without having to fight somebody good. That's why GGG has to step up, ofcourse he doesn't have to, but then stop talking about him beiing p4p. Truth of the matter is, we don't know how good he is. He can't claim Canelo is ducking him until he accepts the 155 catchweight. Call his bluff, or soemthing else is going on and it isn't law and order just go by the rules as he comes from one of the least law and order countries and cultures imaginable. His law and order attitude seems from one of self serving convenience.

I swore I saw a video of Ward talking about the 164 fight. If he is talking about it must be serious?

Ward does tend to ignore fighters when they call him out. He plays the your not worthy card! He hung on to that WBA belt for 2 years as a bargain chip. Then they stripped him and he went to 175. I know the story. I just can corroborate every detail. Yeah if Ward is the badazz he wants people to think he is he should of already done beat down on Adonis and Kovalev. But he needs 3 preparation fights before those 2 killers? But Golovkin is trash and Ward was ready to whoop on him ASAP!:huh

If he would've fought Ward, definitely and we'd know where his level is at.

True, but much of those prep fights are about him milking that Roc Nation contract. He gets so much every fight in guaranteed money.
I don't think he needs to wait to fight Kovalev but the fight needs hype to make money.
HBO does not love Krusher like they do GGG.

Golovkin is an easy fight for Ward and everyone knows it. That is why it will never happen. GGG is HBO's savior, supposedly, after Pacquiao. I Ward beats Kovalev clean then GGG will talk retirement, I promise.

    Ward
    Rigondeaux
    Gamboa

The pattern seems to be bad management with all.

There was a time when a boxing fan didn't talk of all this money and promoter politics garbage. :tired If this sport had some structure it would be great again.
