Both middleweight era's were a disgrace, an absolute farce. Which one fought in the worst middleweight era?

Hopkins avoided Super Middleweight like the plague where Britain's finest plied their trade. GGG meanwhile has proved he's willing to move up as he tried to get fights with cash cow Froch.

Hopkins MW era was pretty bad. It was so bad that he had to feast on WW's to get big wins. To his credit, he did try to make a big fight with then LHW Champ Roy Jones in a super fight rematch. The man was too greedy though.

I see both era's being pretty bad, with this current era being an all time low. Andy Lee would NEVER become a MW champion in any era. A shop worn, shot to **** WW wouldn't either.

We have to give credit to Hopkins however for having the ***** to call out Jones. Can't give Bummyluvkin credit for calling out a green JMW and a shopworn WW though.

Hopkins calling out Jones isnt enough, FACT is he did not fight him. GGG called Ward and Froch out that doesnt matter. An Lee and Cotto wouldn't be champions if they weren't ducking GGG

Bernard had no intention of rematching Roy in 2002.

GGG easily. Golovkins best wins are vs guys who could scratch a title or elite win in the era before him(Martinez.Chavez). Also the only legit Champ at MW right now is a former JWW peole have been calling shot since 09"

Cotto is at his peak now, even if many are saying he is "ön his way out"

He will prove it tonight nov. 21 2015 when he writes a new chapter in PR's boxing glory!

:goodExactly. Now the Cotto and Canelo bashing will begin because they won't make GGG famous outside of his skinhead fanbase.

The desperation is in the air at K2. Soon they will say that GGG can come down to 147 to fight Floyd and these clowns will be like," Yeah, GGG can make welterweight but Mayweather is ducking."

Outstanding debate. Hopkins for sure. He feasted on midgets and welterweights.

I'm doing a funding drive to get better weapons for the St. Louis PD. Would you like to contribute?

60/40 split in favour of Roy was pretty fair.
