This is a total rewriting of history as I’d expect from you.

GGG no one thought Wilder was the second coming like GGG fans said of him. No one ever called Wilder the best HW ever, infact he was mostly called a unskilled bum but many here called GGG the best MW ever. If anything Wilder was laughed at and discredited for years. GGG had way more fans hyping him here than Wilder did those are facts. Wilder was simply a exciting fighter who had a big punch you didn't expect him to have a HOF career let alone be the best HW ever. While GGG was supposed to be this dominating force who would beat Hagler Hopkins and Monzon at MW who KOs Heavyweights in sparring. He never lived up to the hype not close.

A thread based on what the worst of the fans said?? Hype is used to sell tickets. The fact that so many posters here, supposedly knowledgeable, buy into hype, whether positively or negatively, just shows how limited they are to begin with in their ability to assess a fighter. If you don't have the ability to see so-called hype for what it is, you probably aren't very bright to begin with.

That makes me think about the polling websites do to see who won a fight. It would be interesting how much of that is skewed by favoritism or hatred towards a fighter.

Problem I see with any polling is, they tend to be more about popularity. Polls are only as good as the people who vote IMO. And the internet is unfortunately rife w/ trolls and rubes.

I think Proksa was ranked even higher by the Ring magazine.

Brook was undefeated not coming off a devastating loss. The devastating loss was to Golovkin. Then when Spence fought Brook he was coming off a devastating loss. Also, Brook isn't GGG'S best win, nice try though.

What? They do. There are people that pretend Wilder would lose to every C level boxer that’s ever existed on here despite the fact he’s iced every single one that he’s fought. That’s underrating him. Equally there are some that think he has more than a puncher’s chance against historically ‘good’ fighters. That’s rating him too highly.

With GGG, there were and still are people who only consider him a B level fighter. That’s underselling him hard. And if you go into the classic forum you’ll find people have picked him to beat MW greats regularly. I think that’s giving him too much credit.

People over and under these two all the time, they have for ages and all continue to do so. It’s not a direct comparison of how good they are compared to each other.

You need to watch Golovkin's highlights devouring hopeless bums as a 1/100 favorite to calm down.
