I don't think GGG's faced an opponent as good as Fury. Canelo came up to fight him. And Fury seems better than Canelo. Fury's the only one to beat Wilder so, honestly, is GGG really better than Wilder? Eye test says yes, but in the end the only thing that matters is who you beat. As for overrated, Wilder wasn't that highly rated, just his power. GGG was always thought of as better. GGG was definitely overrated by many but still a very good fighter. His opposition wasn't the best and he barely scraped by the best he fought, Canelo (won the first fought for sure, second one is much closer), Dev, and Jacobs.
Stop projecting lil girl. I'm not the only one who notices you copy other poster crap... Back to the ignore w/ you... troll.
GGG had lost a step when he fought his best opposition, Oscar didn’t want it for Canelo, hence giving up the belt, Jacobs Derev Rolls are all fights years past his prime. He’s in it for the dazn money or he would’ve retired
Canelo, Jacobs, and Derevyanchenko is pretty skillful as well. of coarse you will be coming back with GGG didn't beat Canelo, that's the beauty of boxing robberies isn't It? It allows the fans of the beneficiary to talk smack as though they really won. That's stupid because he beat Jacobs clearly although it was very competitive. Everybody knows he beat Canelo at the very least once.
Well that's what i asked for from the beginning, an opponent he actually beat. No one is shifting goal posts here except you. Unless you think Jacobs and dervenchenko are more skilled than Kell Brook. Many sources dispute both those bouts and scored for Jacobs and Dervenchenko. The punch stats are actually very close and so was the action and flow of each round; which is completely valid to bring up since Golovkin fans love to talk about how "everyone" saw the Canelo fights. As for Canelo, you can cry all you want but the Canelo fights are 1-1-0 in Canelo's favor and many people thought he earned it. Golovkin fans whine about this series because it's his best opponent and he came up short twice after talking so much trash about Canelo and calling him El Pollo. What all 3 fights have in common is Golovkin landing more jabs but the opponent landing more power punches so the numbers are deceptive and it looks like Golovkin is simply outlanding everyone completely and makes scoring somewhat skewed based on preference. Against Jacobs for example, he literally spammed his jab 356 times and only attempted 259 power shots. He clearly prefers playing it safe at mid range and never adjusts. It just indicates that Golovkin for all his overrated skill and power never convincingly dominated or knocked out a world class opponent somehow.
